Conveniently located only 1 mile from King Pine Ski Area and Purity Springs resort. Warm cozy mountainside house, living room with stone fireplace, A medium sized house tastefully decorated. 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 baths, sleeps 6-10, wireless access, perfect for a family vacation. This house is situated on 5 acres with a great mountainous walking trail, great for hiking or cross country skiing. House is also available at reduced rates if rented by the month or seasonally. Within minutes drive to SIlver Lake.

Please note the house is rented from 12/1 to 4/8/13, the ski season is already reserved, Now taking reservations for april, may, june, july ,august, september 2013
Why Anita Colby chose Madison

I bought the land and built the mountain house over the course of 4 years. I wanted a mountainside location in a safe area so that I didn't have to worry to let my kids play outside. They learned to ski at King Pine which is only a mile or so away.

What makes this house unique

The house is located in the middle of a 5 acre forested spot, so quiet and private.

Ski: Our Madison Mountain house is located 1-2 miles from King Pine Ski Area, a family oriented ski area, a great multi purpose area including day an night time tubing, cross country skiing, and a fitness center with a pool, also located 10 miles from Cranmore ski area, and 15-18 miles from Attitash and Wildcat and 1 hour from Sunday River in the winter. In summer there are 3-5 lakes with in 7 miles from the house, the saco river 10 miles away, lots of mountain trails close by, not to mention the Madison Boulder!! 1/2 hour from North Conway NH. recreational.

Perfect Weekend in Madison!

This was the first time my friends and I had used this site to find a house to get away for the weekend, and I have it say that we nailed it on the head picking this house! Not only was it an amazing deal, but everything was set up just the way it described. It easily fit our group of 8 with room to spare! We ended up spending the weekend cooking and being lazy and just having a damn good time. Saturday night, we made our way to the King Pine Ski place (it really was just a mile down the road) and did was awesome night tubing. It was perfect. There's not really much I can say except good things. Highly reccommend renting with Anita - I'm sure we'll be doing it agin as well!

This is a great place with a beautiful view of the white mountains. We had everything we needed and then some. It was very clean and cozy. The owners are very nice and accurate with their information. We will be returning to this house! We highly recommend this to anyone vacationing in the White Mountains area!

Everything we needed was there at the SWEET cabin!

Working with Anita was really GREAT!! There was a time limit on applying for the unit but Anita had a great system in place and made planning simple and straight-forward. She never asked me to send the check via expensive overnight mail. Besides, there were no hidden fees at all. No security deposit and no internet service fee that many owners usually asked. The rates already include tax. We chose self-clean option and saved $150. We had a great stay, accommodations were perfect for 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids). House was clean, well organized and had everything we needed which made for light packing and laid-back living. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to play in the White Mountains.

My Family and I have been to this cabin on several occasions and I strongly agree with all of these other reviews. This is a great place to stay, plenty of room, clean and very accommodating.
It is close to many fun filled activities to explore.

I highly recommend this great place weather you looking for a vacation activity, which there are plenty of or just relaxing and enjoying your family.
