Beautiful home on the mid-south end of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. This tropical paradise includes an pool with lounging bench facing the sea, beautiful views of the entire island, and all the comforts of home. FREE phone AND wireless internet! Escalera Blanca is located across from the Caribbean--breezes are fantastic. There are ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout. Main floor: fully-equipped kitchen, laundry room, dining area, living room and half bath. You will love the living area's comfy furniture to relax or watch the large flat screen TV with (US) satellite channels. Second floor: 2 bedrooms--each with full bathroom, access to the large wrap-around balcony, comfy king size beds and TVs. The upstairs bathrooms have large tiled showers and fantastic ceramic sinks. Wooden stairs on the balcony lead to the roof --great view & amazing sunsets. All linens, towels, cooking and eating utensils are furnished. Downtown is minutes away.

  • $1200-2100 / Week
    Confirming a reservation:
    When we receive your reservation request, and provided the dates you require are available, we will temporarily reserve the casa in your name. Once we have confirmed via email that the casa is available for the dates you require, a 50% payment deposit will be due.

    A Reservation is not Confirmed until your deposit has been received, which must be done within two weeks or we will make the casa available again.

    On receipt of payment, the casa is considered booked and will be locked out of the availability calendar. We accept payment via personal check, cashier's check or money order.

    If your arrival date is 60 days or less from the booking date then 100% of the rental fee is payable on booking. If your arrival date is more than 60 days from the booking date then the remaining 50% of the rental fee is due 30 days before your arrival date.
  • Escalera Blanca sleeps a maximum of 6 people. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation should more than 6 people be resident in the property.
    Liability:
    Payment of your deposit is deemed as full and final acceptance of our Terms & Conditions of Booking.

    As part of these booking conditions you are undertaking to indemnify the owners and agents of Casa Escalera Blanca against any claim for liability for loss of personal property or belongings, personal injury or death or any claim whatsoever resulting from your residence on this property.

    We advise that clients get vacation insurance, including full medical and repatriation insurance.

    Contract:
    These Terms & Conditions form a Contract between the owners and the renters. This contract shall be construed and governed in all respects by US Law, all disputes arising relating to this contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the US. We reserve the right to vary or change these Terms & Conditions without notice.

Children & Pets:: Due to certain design aspects of the house, ie. roof, balcony and stairways, the owners would point out that Escalera Blanca is unsuitable for very young children. Sorry, but for their own protection, we do not allow children under 7 years of age (except infants). The owners are dog lovers and will consider small dogs staying in the home. Please discuss before rental and a damage deposit is due. The deposit will be returned within 15 days after rental if there is no damage.

Damages:: While normal wear and tear is considered acceptable, damage to the casa or the fixtures and furnishings will be charged for. We reserve the option to request a damage deposit of $500 when booking, this deposit will be returned no more than 15 days after you leave the property and provided no damage has been reported to us by our agents. Any damages left by your party will be paid for from the $500 deposit and any balance will be returned to you within 15 days of you vacating the property. We also reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the property is not left in a reasonable condition.

Keys:: You may collect your keys from our property managers on Isla. Full details of key collection and how to enter the casa and other details will be supplied at time of your final payment. There will be a $50 USD charge for lost keys and $100 USD charge for lost remote controls for the Air Conditioners, TVs, etc.

Simple Luxury

We stayed at Escalera Blanca from Aug. 9-14, and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. This was our first vacation using a rental property as we usually go the all inclusive route, but the privacy and uniqueness to having a private residence was unmatched. We were on our own schedule and the pool never closed. Suzanne and Tony were a joy to work with and their home is simply beautiful. The decor is traditional Mexican Hacienda with tiled floors and vibrant Mexican/Caribbean colors and textiles. The artwork that graces the walls are beautiful and fit the theme of the home well. The air conditioning, Directv, and wifi were welcomed creature comforts as was the ipod dock and stereo which I enjoyed poolside on a nightly basis. The home was clean and everything worked as expected. There are many options on Isla Mujeres but if you want a lovely home with all the amenities expected from a luxury property then Escalera Blanca is an ideal vacation option. We were a group of 5 adults and were very comfortable. Rent a golf cart so that you can come go with ease and try the dining options outside of the Centro as there are many nice eateries all over the island. Ron is the house manager and lives on Isla and is very knowledgeable about the island and has a wealth of information to make your stay even more enjoyable. Isla Mujeres is truly a gem in the Caribbean and staying at Escalera Blanca only makes your stay better. Note to the next renter: I left half of a bottle of Tequila to get you started.

Wonderful Stay!

Escalera Blanca is a delight! The accommodations were perfect for two couples. The home is equipped with all the amenities and then some. (I don’t have three flat screen TVs at home!) Susanne, the owner, was warm and friendly- very helpful as we planned our trip. The on-island caretaker, Ron, was helpful and responsive throughout our time on la Isla. AND we loved Isla Mujeres’ laid back style. Overall, we had a wonderful trip!

Beautiful Place to Escape

This was our second stay as Escalera Blanca and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is beautifully decorated and has every modern convenience. A great location away from town. But unquestionably, the best part of the Escalera Blanca is the view that greets you every morning as you look out the window from bed... the brilliant blue ocean is right there! And both bedrooms have the same view. We started each day with coffee and pastries from the local shop around the corner, sitting by the pool, gazing at the ocean, feeling the ocean breeze. We will be back soon!

We loved our three week stay at Escalara Blanca on the beautiful Isla Mujerres. The only reason I could not give a 5 star rating is due to some mechanical difficulties during our stay. In all fairness, we visited during low season and this is the time that property owners allow for repairs of their homes. However, the owners, Suzanne and Tony, did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We love the island and the home is wonderful and met all of our needs. We invited our son and our moms for the first week and all had a great time. The following 2 weeks were just for my husband (who needed the corporate lobotomy) and myself. The sites, the food, the beaches, the relaxing atmosphere, the locals, the friendliness, the absolute beauty of the island and the unforgettable view of the Carribean are forever etched in our minds. If you are looking for a beautiful secluded island, a fully equipped and oh so lovely Mexican villa, a never ending view of the Carribean, great beaches, a relaxed atmosphere and all the fine dining and activities you could want, Escalera Blanca would be my recommendation.

We loved this house. We were there in June. It was wonderful. The house is beautiful. The view is spectacular.
The house is set up with everything we needed.
And Suzanne is a joy to work with.
We would stay there again.
