This cottage is only 30 yards from the Atlantic Ocean and there are no roads to cross to get to the neighborhood beach access. About 50 yards to the west is a 10 mile multi-purpose paved pathway for walking, jogging, in-line skating, etc. This East Tides neighborhood (MP 18) is completely residential, but convenience stores and restaurants are only 1.5 miles away. The cottage features a well equipped kitchen for cooks, a great room with comfortable seating for 10, and 2 cable TVs with DVD and CD players, and oceanside deck for relaxing.

The Shamrock is located the the southern - all residential area of Nags Head on the Outer Banks (OBX) of North Carolina near Mile Post 18. This single family home is about 20 yards from the Atlantic Ocean. Boating, fishing and numerous water sports as well as several golf courses are available. The Wright Brothers Museum, Jockey's Ridge, The Lost Colony, and Elizabethan Gardens are nearby.

Great Family Location: The Shamrock is a great location to take the family to offer a little more privacy on the beach than you will get in the heart of Kill Devil Hills but it is an easy drive to the Aquarium, Lighthouse, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Jockey's Ridge State Park, The Wright Brothers Memorial Monument or even the Outlet Mall and many restaurants.
