My Place: This apartment is my retreat in the city and I am happy to share by welcoming visitors who want to enjoy living like a New Yorker. There is nothing like having your own place in the city- relaxing, strolling the neighborhoods, finding that spacial shopping spot and seeing the sights, museums, galleries and theaters. Just watching the lights go on in the evening from the terrace is pretty special too!

I have really enjoyed the property as well as the owner's commitment. The penthouse is perfect for a couple with 1 o two sons or even two couples. We were 4 people (2 couples) and we really enjoyed the staying there.
We strongly recommend this appartment.

Great Stay

Our experience in NYC was delightful, despite the intermittent rain and fog. The views were incredible, and it was wonderful just to gaze out the windows or have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening on the small terrace.

The apartment was slightly smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it lived up to our expectationsin every way. Our contact was there to meet us as scheduled, the people at the front desk were very friendly and courteous, and the roof deck offered spectacular views as well. The location was good for us as we love walking in NYC and were able to reach all our desitnations, including a great street fair, on foot. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to experience New York City more as a native than a tourist.

big experience. The apartment has everything you like for a pleasant stay. Pretty good interior set up with love and a remarkable good taste. By the way: Look at that view!!!

Noch was in Deutsch: Das Apartment können wir sehr empfehlen. Die Fotos erwecken genau den Eindruck, den man vor Ort vorfindet. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt. Der Service ist perfekt. Wenn man was braucht, kann man Ayaka anrufen, die gern und gut hilft.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment during the first week in February 2009, and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment feels like home. The owner has thoughtfully left everything you need in the apartment, including kitchen utensils and even a toolbox in case you need it. We are keen walkers, and the location is great - only 15-20 minutes to the Times Square and Broadway, and there are lots of restaurants and grocery shops nearby. The most memorable aspect of the apartment is its panoramic views of downtown Manhattan. Spectacular!

Great for restaurants and theatre

When we enquired at short notice, a larger apartment in the same building was offered (with photos) for the same price. The apartment was precisely as described and depicted in the photos. Great view, beautiful new kitchen and appliances (with enough cups/glasses/plates - often an issue!!), new large washing machine & dryer (separate units, hidden neatly in a cupboard), and spare pillows/linen/doonas etc in the cupboards should we need them.
The owner's rep was there as promised to let us in and show us the apartment, and she was extremely friendly, helpful and on the ball. The welcome book with restaurant recommendations etc was homely and friendly, a nice touch. We had no problems during our stay.
Great location, especially if you are planning on seeing lots of Broadway theatre, the walk is easy (about 15-20mins). Loads of good restaurants (of varied cuisines and prices) in the area, especially on 9th Ave.
Only very slight negative is that it is not very close to a subway station - 2 avenue blocks and 2 street blocks (to 50th & 8th) - however that is just us being lazy!
Highly recommended.
