With so many nearby attractions, there is something to do regardless of weather. The calm and peaceful atmosphere of the area provides a great location for a holiday, family gathering or a romantic getaway. The Outerbanks has become a popular destination in the fall especially for family Thanksgiving vacations, fishing or shopping.
