Less than one block to public canoe & kayak launch. 150' of bay front offering views of Beautiful sunsets & sunrises. 200' pier for fishing & pleasure with 13,000 pound electric boat lift.

St. George Island offers one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. We are only a couple blocks to this beautiful beach. Many people also come here for the fishing. Seatrout, redfish, flounder, snapper, grouper, and sea bass are just a few of the many varieties found. Fresh water fishing is also good. There are three rivers that run into the bay. Just across the bridge is Apalachicola full of historic homes, a bustling waterfront, lots of little artistic shops, and some great seafood restaurants. We are all about nature. Almost 70% of the land is in either National or State forests or parks and estuaries. Wildlife and marine life are abundant. The State Park on St. George alone is almost 12 miles of beautiful white sandy beach.

Notes: Hi speed internet, and free long distance states and Canada. We are just now furnishing the house. We have several bay cottages, all with boating access. For that reason we find that many couples want to rent these properties; however, do no want to pay the price for a property that accommodates 8 people. So, since they have need for only one bedroom, we have decided to discount the price for 2 people. Our prices include linens, cleaning, etc. If pet is accepted, there is a $50 pet fee. We also have an exercise bike located in the Florida room. Exercise while you're enjoying the beautiful views of the Apalach Bay. Top of the line appliances in the kitchen.

We have the house equipped for you. Beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, a bar overlooking the beautiful Apalachicola Bay, oyster knives, and even a lobster pot. St. James Bay golf course is only 1/2 hour away. This is a world class course with a great pro shop, restaurant, and GPS equipped carts. A set a golf clubs are there at the house. Bring your fishing equipment and boat. We have a 13,000 pound lift for your boat or you can enjoy fishing right there from the dock. In addition, the view from the house, the deck, and the pier is awesome. The sunsets are unbelievable. Please review the rental rates. We have discounted our price for smaller groups. Up to 2 persons occupying our house has the greatest discounted price. If you are planning having overnight guests during your stay, please contact owner prior to arrival as failure to do so could result in immediate departure with no return of rental fee.

We love the house and we had a blast with the dock. Everything was clean and comfortable. We want to go back when my son in law comes back from Iraq in the winter.
We stayed a year ago October before he left and always brings that little piece of heaven with him over there to Iraq knowing he's going back.

Great Sunsets!

This house has a very nice bay location. Unfortunately the tides would get very low and we could not get the boat into the lift on some occasions.
The kitchen and open areas were great - we worked puzzles, played WII and had a card game going as well.
It is a three bedroom home as the sleeper sofa is in a very open "Florida" room.
The underhouse storage was great for all the fishing needs.
The owners were very cooperative when there was a small repair need.
I would recommend this home especially since the owner made it so accommodating.
