The apartment allows you to feel the emotion of living in a 17th century house completely restructured. The apartment has been redecorated with great care maintaining anyway the original charm: the walls have been treated, according to the Venetian tradition, with an exceptional mineral stucco of great effect and the tall ceiling is made of wooden beams. Elegantly furnished, it is located on the first floor off the street level (would be the second floor in the USA - no elevator) and houses a double sofa bed (200x140cm) and a lovely dining area. Above one corner of the room is a mezzanine (h 130cm) with a full size bed (190x160 cm). Under the loft a wide bathroom with shower and washing machine. Satellite TV, Air Conditioning, a big safety box and well equipped kitchen (with dish washer machine, microwave oven, coffee machine) completes the main facilities. The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four persons, feeling at home away from home.

You are in the heart of the Roman Baroque, definitely. Not only baroque: around each corner you find many traces of the ancient Rome. This 45sqm apartment is just 30 mt from Piazza Navona, the ancient Domitian Stadium, whose elliptic geometry makes the area one of the most amazing and exciting places in Rome, enriched by masterpieces from Bernini, Borromini, Giacomo Della Porta, some of the greatest Baroque Maestri. The apartment is also very close (20 mt) to the Church of Santa Maria della Pace with its Cloister designed by Bramante. From this strategic place, in only two minutes walk, you can get other extraordinary and famous places as the Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo, Campo de Fiori and a lot of monumental Churches. Within easy walking distance many other as the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi, Torre Argentina, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo, St. Peter’s Basilica, Coliseum and the Imperial Forums.

We stayed at the apartment from Sep 17-20, 2009. There were 3 adults that stayed in this apartment and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay in an amazing location. The photos of the apartment are very accurate and Fabrizio is a great host. Fabrizio responded to all of our e-mails in a timely fashion, arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport and lent us a cell phone to use as well as maps & guidebooks! There was also a selection of Italian wines that we could taste. We have wonderful memories of our in Rome. Thank-you so much Fabrizio!!

What A Great Place - And A Superb Host (Fabrizio)

My wife and I (Una & Dave) were fortunate enough to stay at Fabrizio's apartment for 8 nights during October, 2009. Other than finding it a bit difficult to locate when we arrived (our lack of Italian sure didn't help us) we found it a fabulous place to call home during our visit. It is located roughly 100 meters from the Piazza Navona and the small neighborhood had absolutely everything we would need within a few steps (supermercado, internet/WiFi cafe, many nice eateries, etc.). The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped. We actually cooked our own (very bad) imitations of Italian cuisine a couple of times and found everything we needed had been provided by Fabrizio including a selection of Italian wines he had hand picked. I'd recommend this place without hesitation with only one slight advisory - getting upstairs to the sleeping area is not recommended for those not in decent physical condition. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a perfect central location and a fabulous, attentive host don't hesitate to book this little gem. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Location, Location, Location! Right in the Centro Historico, staying here really highlighted Rome as a walking city: everything seemed only a short stroll away.

Fabrizio is also the consummate host. With impeccable attention to detail he facilitated almost every aspect of our stay.

Would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

This a partment is so comfortable and very well located. Only one block from Pza Navonna. The Tourist office is there and the bus stops for all parts of Rome, as well. The apartment is surrounded by inexpensive trattorias and in the morning there is a fruit and vegetable market downstairs. Fabrizio was very helpful with information and he arranged for taxi service to the train station when we were leaving.

I agree with all the wonderful comments posted before this one. The new addition was SATELLITE TV which Fabrizio added right before our stay in March. We also enjoyed the washing machine!
