Historic home in charming seaside village

What a wonderful time we had in Noank. The cottage was full of charm and set in a peaceful and private setting, but only a five minute drive away from bustling Mystic with it's boutiques and restaurants. Patty was super sweet and helpful, she even provided toys for our 2 year old which was great as we didn't have room to bring many toys with us.

We will forever remember our holiday in CT.

The house is delightful and Patricia is lovely. We had a serene mid-winter stay here and particularly enjoyed the sunlight streaming through the windows, the unusually well-equipped kitchen, and eating meals at the kitchen table by the fireplace. The period details of the house are fantastic. Remodeling has been done sensitively, leaving the period charm intact while allowing for luxurious modern conveniences (internet with your tweny-inch wide pumpkin pine floors, anyone?). I'd love to stay there again, and will recommend it to friends and family looking for a quiet place near so many tourist destinations.

We are in the midst of an amazing stay in this beautiful home. Filled with character and history, and offering beautiful furniture and all the comforts of home, this has been the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind from a busy life of work and school.

Some days, we walk or ride to the village of Noank to play on the playground, enjoy a lobster roll or an ice cream, and grab a few groceries and a bottle of wine. Some days we wander over towards Esker Point and Groton Long Point, for a seaside lunch or dinner at one of several restaurants, or a little beach time. The house is a short drive to all that Mystic has to offer, and also close to the great nightlife offered at the casinos, some lovely farmers markets, and several pick-your-own farms, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area - but truthfully, we spend most of our time in the huge yard: grilling, lounging on chaises and reading, playing under the sprinkler, and enjoying the peonies and the wildlife that wander through from time to time. Fresh berries every morning and s'mores every night, our children will remember this summer forever. What a gift.
