Seagrove Beach House Rental Photos and Description
THE BEACH IS A SPECIAL PLACE TO SPEND THE HOIDAYS--FOR A WEEK OR A MONTH!
This beautiful house is named 'Making Memories' because our wish is it will give everyone happy memories! It is in the lovely community of Grove by the Sea at 26 Cullman Ave. in Seagrove Beach. It is less that a mile from Seaside with all its shops and attractions without the higher rental prices. Located right off of 30A west of Panama City, you'll have close walking access (about .4 mile) to the sugar-white sandy beaches, emerald green water, and unbelievable sunsets. Nearby are two great community pools, a tennis court (which you can see from the upper deck), and a playground for the kids. The bike trail runs all along 30A and gives you miles of level, easy riding adventures. There are many great state parks nearby, like Eden State Park (3.5 mi).
Our house is decorated with touches of bright, happy colors, including original whimsical paintings by our daughter and popular artist, Tricia Robinson. A plus is the handicapped ramp which makes easy access for wheelchairs (and strollers). All four bedrooms and the living area downstairs have new flat screen TVs with DISH network providing lots of choices.
The main floor features a large wrap-around screened-in porch with plenty of rockers and a bench sofa in a nice sitting area plus a table for outside dining. 'Sparkle lights' go around the porch to add an extra touch at night. The house has wireless Internet connection for all of us laptop lovers. The inside is open with a spacious, fully-furnished kitchen, dining area, and living room. The dining table seats 8-10 plus 3 more at the bar. A full bath and a laundry area with iron and ironing board and new washer and dryer are off the hall. The cheery first floor bedroom has twin beds and French doors to the screened porch. In the closet are two umbrella strollers, a child's booster seat for using at the dining table, a child's gate for the stairs, a portable child's bed rail, and a small stool for young children to use at the sink in the bathroom.
On the 2nd floor you'll find two roomy and colorful bedrooms with queen beds, a single roll-away bed for extra sleeping, your own bathrooms, TV, DVD, and doors out to the porch with its bistro table and chairs for enjoying a cup of coffee, plus a comfy bench sofa, rocker, and porch swing for just relaxing. You can take a soothing bath in the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom.
Go up the stairs to the 'tower room' and find a great area for the kids or a get-away for adults with TV and DVD player and a wet bar boasting a sink and fridge. Each end of that room has balconies overlooking the lovely homes and streets of the community. You can get a breath-taking view of the starry night-time skies. There is sleeping for 4 with two bunk beds. There is also a table and chairs for games, writing, and more.
Outside the house you'll find a secluded shady yard with the sweet scent of magnolia trees and Rosemary bushes. The outside shower is a convenient way to wash away the sand. There are water toys for the pool or beach and four beach chairs with a handy wagon to carry chairs, kids, and more to the beach. A gas grill is also available.
THERE IS PARKING FOR 3 VEHICLES. SMOKING AND PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters

About Betty Nelson
My husband and I always loved to travel, but after my husband became disabled, we had to go on trips of a day away or less. Coming to the beach with family is very special, and we all enjoy the whole amazing 30-A area. Making memories with the five grandchildren is a great blessing.
Why Betty Nelson chose Seagrove Beach
We started coming with our daughter and her family to the 30-A area when she began taking her art to the Rosemary Beach shows. After staying in Grove By the Sea a few tines, we really loved the peacefulness and beauty of the neighborhood. When this special house came on the market, we knew it was the perfect one for our family! Thus 'Making Memories' became our cheery home away from home.
Guestbook comments from the owner
We could not conceive of a more wonderful, magical happy place to come for our family's getaway to the beach. We will cherish our memories of naps on the porch, happy meals around the table, horsey games in the front yard, and so much more. Everything was so perfect. We have relished the tenderness of God this week. We already cannot wait to return! We are going home restored and with full hearts.
