Cozy and close to the beach. New windows in 2008! This cottage is ideal for a family or couple who enjoys Cape Cod beaches without a lot of driving. 100 yards from Cape Cod Bay and 3 miles from the National Seashore. Many great restaurant choices. Enjoy a bike ride on the rail trail only 1.5 miles away. Take a step back in time at the Welfeet Drive-in movie theater just minutes away. Provincetown with lots of unique shops, whale watching, and fishing located 20 miles north. Great walking trails on National Seashore and Audubon Sanctuary close by. Great kayaking spots all over the area. We have a second cottage next door. Rent both together if you have a larger group! See listing #186761

Cape Cod Cottage by the Bay: This cottage is approximately 100 yards from beautiful Cape Cod Bay. The water is warm, the beach is sandy, and the view is spectacular. How about a quick dip before breakfast? No problem. After dinner stroll to watch the sunset? Easy. Lunch back at the cottage? No problem. Perhaps you would like to play in some big surf on the expansive National Seashore outer beach. A 10-minute drive will put you there. If you like poking around in shops for antiques or artwork you will have lots to keep you busy. The Cape Cod Rail trail bike path is a few miles away and you can follow it to the National Seashore Visitor's Center and the Coast Guard Beach bike trail. If you enjoy the serenity of a walk along the ocean you will have plenty of choices. Email me for more information if you need it.

A lovely place to stay

My family had a wonderful week staying at this cottage and enjoying the benefits of being so close to the beach. The cottage is literally about 4 houses away from the beach, so it was easy to pop over to see what the tide was like or go for a quick dip before sunset. The cottage itself is very cute and comfortable, with plenty of space for a family of four. The cottage was well equipt with everything we needed for cooking, had cable tv, a nice outdoor shower with warm water, and a great yard where our kids could play. The owner was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips about good places to eat in Eastham. We enjoyed Friendly Fisherman, Hole in One donuts and Fleming Donuts, Sam's deli, Chocolate Box cafe and other places. Also found lots of fun activities like miniature golf, trips to Provincetown and Welfleet, visits to the National Seashore etc. All in all a great place to spend a vacation.We would definitley stay at this cottage again.

Charming and immaculate

Charming, immaculate, real close to the bay, great location .. worked out great with our group of 4 with room for more. Quaint setting. Short walk to small grocery. Easy access to rail trail and other fun places .. easy to work with owner. A perfect girls getaway. Wonderful meals at the picnic table.
Warm outdoor showers after the beach.
An easy walk back to the cottage for the forgotten items or to the beach to view the tide.
Just adorable!

Cute Cottage near the beach

We had the privilege of renting this cute cottage Columbus Day Weekend and it was a great time. The house is cozy but worked for 4 adults, even with 1 bathroom. The interior could use a little updating however it looks like the owners might have started that with the outside first. Great proximity to everything especially the beach, we were able to go and sit and watch the sunset after dinner and that is a great experience of the Cape. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.
