Lovely quiet chalet in the heart of the Pocono mountains for all seasons. Close to all nature has to offer, Delaware river for white water rafting and boating, Camelback ski area for skiing, Pocono raceway, Pocono Indian museum, snake and animal farm for the kids, outlet shopping, flea market as well as all the amenities the community has to offer. Within the community there are 4 pools, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor, indoor and outdoor tennis, a lake for fishing, 2 ski slopes, an exercise room, basketball, mini golf and much more all for use with your rental and a nominal fee of $5.00 per person per week. Sit on our 2 decks or our screened in porch with a morning coffee or an afternoon drink and watch the wildlife go by. The deer are so tame they will eat from your hand. Who needs a heart shaped tub for a romantic getaway when our house has a huge garden jacuzzi tub large enough for 2. Our house is fully stocked with all the amenities including cable TV with HBO, wireless internet.

Close by is the Niagara Falls of the Pocono's Bushkill Falls, Dingman's Falls, Delaware National Preserve for hunting, hiking, and rafting. New additions to the area are a Casino and a High Stakes Bingo Parlor. Antiquing in Milford as well as cultural events at Shawnee ie; Rodeo, Irish Festival, German Festival, Loggers competition, Pocono Raceway, Coal Mine tours, Flea Markets and Outlets, Skiing, Fishing or relaxing doing nothing at all.

In the community there is The Top of the World Restaurant, as well as many other restaurants in the nearby area. Movie theaters as well as go-karts, a small petting zoo, an Indian museum and other activities for children are close by. Recently opened is a Casino and High Stakes Bingo.

Ski: Within the community there are 2 ski slopes, the use of which is included in the $3.00 per person amenity fee. There is also skiing at Shawnee and Camelback Ski areas.

Golf: There is golf availabe at Fernwood.

Other Activities: white water rafting, sightseeing, tennis, horseback riding

Built high up the side of a mountain in the Poconos, this house seems to overlook the whole world. Gorgeous view and easily accessible! A sweet, snug, cozy, fully equipped chalet with lots to do within that kept us warm and happy, particularly during the snow/ice storm that happened while we were there. Owner had snowplow out clearing the driveway the next morning, great job! We will definitely be back!
