A Roomy, Scenic Gloucester Vacation Home

My family members and I stayed in this beautiful home. We were two adult couples and my 26 yr old son. I want this review to add more info to the two reviews before me. Everything they stated was absolutely accurate.
Some things not mentioned are:
This home is meticulously clean and fresh (and I am fussy). Comes with tons of linens. Wash & dry machines in basement.
This home is close to everything on Cape Ann. Additionally, my son took a ride into Boston on a Sat. night to meet friends. We ate out frequently; the restaurants (both local and fancy) are great!
The 180 degrees panoramic window and deck views are of the river including a sailboat-filled marina. Fish jumping, seagulls and sea ducks--You feel privileged to sit at that dining table view! Leaves you breath-less!
The house is a combination of old and new. Filled with the character of a vintage home, woodwork, floors, styling; but updated where necessary, kitchen, baths, doors and windows. The owners have furnished it to represent this wonderful combo styling.
We were lucky enough to meet Eileen (one owner) she walked us around the property and filled us with stories of the house and the family’s past. It was delightfully interesting.
The house is comfortable to just sit around, big enough to wander around and waterfront located to make you feel like royalty. The closest beach (Wingaersheek) is a 20 min. drive. Worth the drive. You can’t step out the doors onto the deck, (there is a studio apt. there) but, we walked out the kitchen and down the side of the house and sat on the deck all the time. My family likes to kayak--dropping the kayak into the river right off the backyard boat dock is amazing! I highly recommend this property. I rate it excellent.
