This 2-bedroom apartment, with steps leading to a sandy beach with all amenities, supermarket, plenty of good restaurants and bars only a short distance away. It is well equipped to a high standard. There is a magnificent 35 feet terrace overlooking the sea and very spacious living room. The property is fully equipped for 4/5 people with an excellent kitchen including, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Arenal d'en Castell beach is a near perfect horse shoe, it's warm shallow waters make this resort very popular with families with young children. The beach is without doubt a major attraction to this resort with fine, clean sand and a good variety of water sports and other facilities available to suit all tastes. The cliffs that surround the bay are very picturesque and afford those with accommodation at the back of the resort spectacular views. There are a number of small supermarkets and other tourist type shops dotted around the area.

Very Enjoyable....

2 weeks stay in August was really enjoyable. Beach is so close, plus shops etc. Low key resort, but some great little bars...Irish Bar to mention one, really enjoyed it. Within 50 yards of Alcalde Restuarant that does superb food. The sea was very clean and clear and the bay is a great setting.
Ideal family resort and could just about swing it for young teenagers.

Menorcan Apartment review

This apartment was unsuitable for my family, given the fact that we had a 5yr old and a 20 month old baby. The problem being is that it is 54 steps, down from the road, to the apartment with no ramps to allow access for your pushchair. In addition, it was another 100 steps (and these are fairly steep) down to the beach, again with no access for the pram. This therefore made it extremely difficult during our weeks stay. Once in the apartment the views are fantastic, However the interior is a little tired. For example, 2 knobs came off in our hands in the kitchen, the loo roll holder fell off, the outside umbrella stand was broke, and the lampshade was not attached, which was a hazard one night when it fell against the bulb and started to burn. Luckily I was still awake reading at the time. With minimal expense this apartment would be great. But, I feel it only fair to point out the problems with access as it did ruin our stay. Non starter for disabled too.

Amazing View

The pictures of the view from this property really do not do it justice. It really is picture postcard stuff. With only a few steps down to the beach this appartment offers everything a family would need for a sandy beech holiday. Its light, airy & spacious inside & doubles in size with the terrace. The appartment is adequately equiped for a self catering break but there are also ample bars & restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The couple who manage the appartment were freindly & on hand if we needed them but as it's well maintained there was no need for us to call! We hired a car but only went out from the resort a couple of days as there is more than enough to keep you occupied for a week. I really didn't want to leave, will be booking again for sure.
