Jolly has wonderful location
Jolly from Avignon apartments is situated on a polished marble side street of old Avignon's pedestrian mall. It's perfectly quiet (except when the nightclub further down closes with laughter) just shut the excellent shutters. Parking above Les Halles market works well - 6 euro to 13 euro daily. From 06:00 to 13:00 daily, at Les Halles market, you can stock the apartment with the best seafood, cheese, bread and fruits, and cote de rhone wine. Visit Provence and return to the feast from Les Halles or make a picnic.
The best thing about the apartment is Catherine, the property manager. She will help with where to go and, even better, where not to go. We loved Arles, Roussillon, do not miss the fort and chartreuse du val de monastery at Ville Neuve-les-avignon. St Remy market was fun and went forever.
Heads up you need your own soap !!!
I'd think carefully about Charming if you are offered. Its not nearly as good as Jolly, next to a sex shop, and in an area that does not feel as safe walking at night.
