Welcome to Highlands Cottage. This beautifully decorated Sliding Rock Cabin is a 1 King bedroom (with TV), 1 bath, 1 story Ellijay Georgia, pet friendly cabin (no pet fees) with a large FENCED YARD, in the Blue Ridge Mountains is so comfortable summer or winter, you may never want to leave. Highlands is situated on the edge of a lovely mountain and is a perfect romantic getaway for relaxing. Relax on the porch swing, or read in the rocking chairs overlooking the lush valley and surrounding mountains. A hiking trail in the valley leads to a creek (Approx. 15 minute hike). After dinner, maybe, rock on the porch or soak in the hot tub so secluded that it's bathing suit optional, under a gazebo lit by moonlight and stars.
This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25). No cats please.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Fifty Nine Dollar ($59) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. No refunds, rebates, or compensation will be offered. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST PURCHASING VACATION RENTAL INSURANCE with your travel insurance of choice. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I absolutely loved my little cabin in the mountains. My dog Oliver was spoiled rotten with a greeting of a dog bed, bones and treats! He didn't care for the stairs much, but we managed. It was so comfortable and peaceful. I certainly will be back!

Reviewer Comments: The cabin is a perfect mountain getaway for dog lovers with a large hilly fenced in yard and pup friendly cottage with treats, bowls, towels and furniture covers. The surrounding country side is gorgeous. I was unnecessarily concerned about the road in as we have a Prius with low clearance and Google maps was active the whole way in. We look forward to visiting again
