Retreat to the fresh, mountain air of Wadcheehaukee (wad-jee-awkee) West cottage. The newly built cottage features a warm, pine interior and a Vermont Castings gas stove. South-facing windows light up an open-concept main floor with living area, full bath, laundry, and fully equipped kitchen, overlooked by a 16-foot cathedral ceiling. A 3-bedroom mezzanine has 2 rooms with double beds and 1 with two twin beds. A pullout couch lets the cottage sleep up to 8. Loon and Cannon Mountains are 15 min by car; Waterville Valley Mountain is a 25 min. drive South. Our back deck provides a beautiful mountain view, and access to the cottage's 70-acre property including hiking and snow-shoe trails, a pond, a beaver dam, and a 5 min walk to the 2000 feet of Pemmigewasset riverfront with private swimming and kayak launching areas. We welcome pets (50$/ visit fee) and have made the cottage very child friendly. Check the reviews of past guests and book with us first!

Hikers and mountain bikers will love the trails that go for miles through scenic woodlands and climb up the highest mountain slopes in New England. It is also one of the most famous places to view the fall colors.

    Our Monthly rental rate covers occupation from The closest Sunday to the first of the month (check in at 3pm) through to the closest Sunday at the end of the month (check out at 11am). We can negotiate final dates when it gets closer to the time period depending on occupation of the surrounding days.
    Additional nights for long weekend or extra nights added onto a weekly rental are $150.00 per night.
  • We require advance payment of 50% made with certified check sent to New Hampshire bank account. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your rental. Upon receipt of this, reservation confirmation and rental contract will be sent to you via email. We then require a signed contract and refundable security/damage deposit of $200 to be sent to our Toronto address. The balance of payment are required two weeks prior to your rental period. You will be sent the key lock box code upon receipt of this payment.
