TWO BEDROOM, ONE BATH OCEAN FRONT UNIT

This condo did have a lovely view. It was spacious and nicely laid out with one slider overlooking ocean in LR and the other slider overlooking oceanfront in BR.

The kitchen was nice. Had nice appliances and was clean and roomy. Bath was OK as well - washer and dryer in unit was a nice plus. Carpets were a bit dirty. Could be replaced.

Bed in master BR should be replaced. It was hard and uncomfortable. Other than that the place was great - however for the price paid I expected a more comfortable sleeping arrangement - I also looked around while I was up there and found rentals in this area averaged $600 - $400 less in price - sometimes offering more BRs and still oceanfront.

I figured paying the extra would ensure me of a clean and comfortable place - with new furnishings, etc. If the bed has been more comfortable I would not really have any complaints.

Word to the wise - the weather is unpredictable and we unfortunately caught a week in which it was cloudy, cold and raining 6 of the 7 days. No mercy from owners re our request after our 3rd night to check out. In fact, after sending correspondence asking if we could work something out, I got no reply at all.

Salisbury has also seen better days. Hampton Beach is definately the way to go if you are looking for more choices for arcades, restaurants, entertainment. Salisbury has become pretty beat. This area is better for singles who want to do the nightclub scene. Not much offered for families or what they do offer can get old pretty fast.

Your best bet is to check Craigslist for last minute rentals. There are a ton of them and they won't cost you an arm and leg a week. You can also guarantee yourself good weather by booking last minute.
