Well decorated beach home, very short walk to the beach, with a large yard and plenty of room to stretch out. Two bay open garage, owner cleans and maintains. The entire home is newly furnished with all new bedspreads, pillows, lace-nautical scened curtains, new carpeting throughout, every room has newly installed ceiling fans, central-air downstairs, A/C units upstairs, beautiful enclosed porch with FREE cable TV. Family room TV has DVD player, decorated with mural of lighthouse has comfy seating for twelve. Large den with decorative fireplace, furnished with very comfortable over-sized furniture and stocked bookcase for quiet, relaxing evenings. There is a second TV in the enclosed porch. Beautifully decorated kitchen comes fully stocked with all your cooking utensils. Large bedrooms on second floor, colorful and welcoming. Plenty of room for your boat and trailer. Walk in the back door to a beach laundry room, full of cute sand pails, buckets and shells!! New water system!!!Enjoy

  • Home has three newly furnished queen sleepers downstairs. There are two brightly decorated beach comfy bedrooms upstairs both with a queen sized bed and twin sized beds Lots of pillows. DEN HAS BEEN changed into a private bedroom DOWNSTAIRS!!!! A/C units in both. There are new window treatments in both bedrooms with nautical scenes. Lots of throw pillows and small throw blankets to relax and snooze at this quiet beach house... Or just have lots of FUN!! Home is large enough for two families!!! Queen sofa beds have foam toppers and Cushioned down toppers to add for comfort!! Downstairs den has extra door to make like extra bedroom!!!! Quiet and comfortable!!! Sheets, blankets and spreads are there, But if you use ours, Please wash before you leave, Or bring your own and tuck our decorated ones away! Back patio!!! SORRY we do not have a crib at this time... Hot and Cold outside shower

"Enjoyed the time in your home"

Everything was very nice and really looking forward to go back.

We did not catch any fish but really enjoyed the quiet beach...

Sitting on your front porch was enjoyed by our whole family.... :-)

very comfortable home with nice surroundings
My son loved the tennis courts which are in walking distance from the beah house...

WE WILL BE BACK SOON :-)

GREAT VACATION SPOT!

This house is great and so are the owners! I vacationed here for 3 weeks in October and November. The house was very comfortable and equipped with everything one would need - linens, kitchen supplies, DVD's, etc. The area was so peaceful - a great place to go and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My favorite room was the sunroom. I took a little sewing project and the sunroom was perfect for the job. The house has more than enough room for the whole family. It is within walking distance from the water, the community grocery, and a small park for the kids. It is only 30 minutes from the beautiful Delaware beaches and 30 minutes to Dover. I plan to return again in the near future. I had a great time John & Janet. Thanks for everything!

So comforable

We love this house! We have stayed here twice now and think it's the perfect family beach house. Everything is very cute, but more importantly, very comfortable. There is tons of space to stretch out. The large yard and surroundings make a great place for kids to play when they're not at the beach. It's really just a wonderful, peaceful homebase for a beach vacation. It's close enough to drive to Rehoboth, boardwalk, etc. but away from all the noise and congestion. Very relaxing. The owner is also the nicest person you could hope to meet and really goes out of her way to make sure you're enjoying your stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

We had a great week ! A very short walk to the beach. The house has pretty much everything you need. WE then Went to Rehobeth, Lewes, and Ocean City, Md during the week. Yes I would recommend this place!!

Beautiful, Comfortable, Relaxing fun at the beach

Well PJ and I have finally taken the time to write the review, and we hope that you got a note on how much we enjoyed our stay at your Summer Home!! The weather was beautiful and he enjoyed fishing the early morning hours so much!!! The grandkids loved the beach and it was so nice to not be crowded and be able to relax as they played in the sand.
The toys in the family room were great too, The chalk board entertained them for hours while we enjoyed friends over for a crab feast! We love the house and the rabbits and birds act as though they are the pets!!! We will be back as you already know!!! Thank you fopr sharing this beautiful get away!!!
