The National Forest and the Trout Creek meadow basin are right in front of the home offering stunning scenery and exciting activities. Be at the ski resort, the lake or south shore nightlife/casinos in minutes. No matter what season you choose to visit, this luxury Tahoe home is ready to welcome you with open arms and a vast array of exciting activities. Visiting in the winter months? Minutes away you have fun sledding, down hill skiing, cross country skiing in the meadow, snow shoeing, snowboarding, and watching the stars from the hot tub or just relaxing in front of the cozy fireplaces and enjoying the view. In the summertime, enjoy swimming in the glassy lake, fly fishing in Trout Creek, relaxing in the meadow out front of the house or hiking and biking on trails.

Local Beaches and Hiking: The secluded Lake Tahoe sandy beaches of Pope, Baldwin, Kiva, Round Hill Pines, Regan, El Dorado and Nevada Beach are minutes away.

Historic Tallac and Vahalla Theater at Lake Tahoe: Valhalla Boathouse Theater

Today, visitors can capture a glimpse of this opulent past when they explore the site. The Pope, Baldwin and Valhalla Estates are open to the public in different capacities. The Pope Estate, built in 1894, is open for guided tours and houses changing art exhibits. Valhalla is a Grand Hall with beautiful wood floors, an open wood beam ceiling, a balcony of lodge pole construction and a 20 foot high stone fireplace! It was built in 1923 and is now the site of summer concerts, the Cultural Arts Gift Store and is available for rental. The Tahoe Tallac Association, in conjunction with the USDA Forest Service, is committed to restoring these estates and opening them to the public.

Beautiful Home! Highly Recommended!

We just got back from our weekend at this home and we had an amazing time! Matt and Deb are quick, efficient, and great owners to work with. When we got to the home, we were extremely impressed by the modern decor and cleanliness. The home itself is equipped with everything and anything you need. You can't beat the location either -- less than 10 minutes away from Heavenly and Harrah's. There's nothing negative to be said about this property and I highly recommend it for your weekend in Tahoe. We definitely will be back!

Indian Summer

Just wanted to let you know that my siblings and I had a great time staying at your place this last weekend, and we're lucky enough to enjoy the last few days of the "Indian summer" coming home yesterday to the bay area (and it's raining/snowing today).

The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large space, the hot tub, comfy furniture, etc.

The pictures of the home are great, but when you walk in, it's even better!! LOVED the home! Very spacious, nice amenities, and had everything we needed! Spa was really nice and the master suite was so warm and cozy...loved the fireplace! We will be back in the summer months! Thanks!

Home was beautiful

Your home was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay very much. The scenery was awesome. Of course the big surprise for us was the snow. My son got married on Saturday and the wedding was just beautiful.
