The Powder House is located in the Cimarron at Steamboat development which is a recently completed luxury property, a mere five minute walk from the gondola and base area of the ski mountain. Cimarron consists of twenty-three privately owned units each reflecting the personal tastes of their owners. The construction design of the town house is log post and beam style which perfectly reflects its Rocky Mountain locale. Radiant heating is used through out the house and the addition of air conditioning will be a welcome option during the warm summer days. The Powder House is a five bedroom town house with over 3000 square feet of living area and five and a half bathrooms. There are two master suites with king beds and two bedrooms that have queen beds. The fifth bedroom is designed for singles and children with a bunk bed and a trundle. Every bedroom has an HD flat screen television. Each of the bedrooms has a private access bathroom, all with showers and two with tubs.

Located in the northwest corner of the state, Steamboat Springs is blessed with the perfect blend of climates – a winter that features a continuous supply of our famous white powder and magnificent blues skies for the ultimate ski experience and a summer season filled with long warm days and cool mountain nights perfect for biking, hiking or simply relaxing.

For the convenience and safety of our guests, The Powder House has a heated walkway, heated driveway and two car garage. The Cimarron complex has a recreation center located in the center of the property with a heated pool/hot tub and locker rooms with fitness center for the use by all owners and guests.

The Powder House is the perfect choice for a large family or several couples who would enjoy sharing their mountain experience.

Best family vacation yet!

We stayed at the Powderhouse for a seven night ski vacation with two families of 5. The six kids ranged in age from 8-13. The accommodations were perfect for our large group with plenty of bathrooms and nice size bedrooms. The master bed was especially comfortable.

The townhouse is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was great for big breakfasts and several nights of entertaining with other families who were in town. The hot tub and pool table kept the kids pre-occupied each evening. John, the caretaker, was very helpful with tips and suggestions.

Although there was a convenient shuttle, we typically walked to the mountain and gondola square and felt comfortable letting our kids go back and forth themselves.

We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay

We just returned from celebrating our son's birthdays in wonderful Steamboat Springs. This year we chose the Powder House for our stay. The 10 of us had a wonderful four days there.

Everything we needed was there. Our grandchildren loved the hot tub on the deck and it was their evening gathering spot. The condo is decorated beautifully and everything we might have needed was in place - even the pan to roast the prime rib!

Thank you so much for the lovely place to celebrate. We plan to be back for the annual birthday celebration next year!

Perfect Vacation!

We decided to go on a last minute trip to Steamboat last year at the end of the ski season and had one of our best trips ever staying at The Powder House. The place is amazing! It is clean, comfortable, has everything anyone would need in the kitchen, and fun! It is located close to everything and has an on-demand shuttle service, so a car is not needed. It was very easy to make plans for our arrival with Melissa and the onsite property manager was there to let us in and show us everything we needed to know. I highly recommend staying here and plan to again.

This is an amazing rental property. We have stayed in several VRBO properties in Georgia, Florida and Colorado. The Powederhouse is BY FAR our favorite. The owners pay great attention to detail. For a family that loves to cook, they provide everything imaginable for the kitchen, not to mention a wine refrigerator so that your wine is perfectly chilled at all times! There is plenty of space with the five bedroom and five bathrooms spread out onto three levels. We all loved spending time in the hot tub on the deck. We have stayed at the Powderhouse twice and it is the ONLY place we would consider when traveling to Steamboat Springs.

Family Reunion

The property was wonderful! All the adults (120 had a bed and each bedroom had a bathroom. We were all able to sit at the large dinning room table and share our meals together and the kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed to cook with. The location is within walking distance to the ski area, shopping and groceries, so it is a great central location.
