Scenic vistas, crystal clear water, waves gently lapping the shore... Take a picturesque drive into the Village of Skaneateles, dine at the world famous Krebs or grab a fish fry at Doug's. Take in a Sunday polo match or an evening dinner tour of Skaneateles Lake on the Judge Ben Wiles. There is also antiquing, including the annual Madison/Bouckville Antique Show a short drive away as well as many shops right in town. Pass the summer season boating, swimming, snorkeling, or just plain relaxing.

  • There are just a few days left to take advantage of this final summer week at 111 Twisting Lane. Cottage rental for Saturday August 29 (3 PM) through Saturday September 5 (11 AM) is available at a reduced rate of $1450.00 ($200 off regular summer rates). Contact us today.
  • THE FALL RENTAL SEASON IS UPON US!
    Fall has always been one of our family's favorite seasons down at the Lake. The summer boaters disappear, other cottage owners visit less frequently and the atmosphere becomes more quiet and peaceful than usual.

    LIMITED TIME OFFER:
    If you book a week-long September or October stay with us by Wednesday, September 9 you will receive $150 off the regular weekly Fall rate of $1250 for a total of $1100 (discount applies to your first rental week only).

    ANYTIME OFFER:
    If you book multiple weeks with us in the Fall we will remove $250 for each additional week you rent up to $1000 total (for a 5 week rental).

Fall Through Spring Long Term: We offer long term rentals through the 'off' season from November through April. The cottage provides a great getaway for writers, creatives, and business professionals who need solitude to concentrate on business at hand. Rentals are by the month at $2000 per month plus utilities (fireplace and/or electric baseboard heat). You'll need 4x4 travel capabilities. Reservations for this time period should be made during the early Fall season for logistical reasons. Call to discuss.

Peaceful easy times!

We rented the above property the last week in august and loved it! Everything the owners described was on target. There were many steps down to the dock which was the only downside but we considered it good exercise! The house was well appointed, comfortable and had all the necessities. It was very clean and cheerful. The view was spectacular with floor to ceiling windows in the living area and in the master loft bedroom. The road to the house was called Twisting Lane and it was a little intimidating at first but we had a four wheel drive and my husband quickly adapted. Skaneateles is a lovely village with great shopping and a couple very good restaurants. Day trips to Seneca Falls and the wineries were also lots of fun. I highly recommend this place and we hope to return in the future! Lisa

p.s. The owners were very accessible and helpful via e-mail and gave us numerous contact numbers to reach them in case we had any problems while we were there. Happily we did not need to call!
