The cabin is conveniently located 41 miles from both Zion and Bryce National Parks, 12 miles from Cedar Breaks National Monument and 25 miles from Brianhead Ski Resort.
Brianhead receives snow from November through mid-April and has a wonderful ski and snowboarding school for children. It is a very family friendly mountain. In the summer, there are several lakes in the area such as Navajo Lake (8 miles) and there's a private lake just down the road that is stocked with trout in May.
The cabin was great. It was very clean. It is located about 1 hour from zion national park. Also other trails within 25 minutes. We saw deer and wild turkey on the property. I am definitely going to visit this cabin again. The perfect quite get away
The only problem was finding the place. We were given the lot number instead of the house number which made it difficult. Other than that, we were very happy.
I found this rental on VRBO. The pictures and description of the property were exactly as we found it. The house was clean and well kept. It is located about an hour from multiple national parks and was a great base for our week in Utah. We hiked in Zion and Bryce and spent a day with a canyon guide from the Zion Adventure Company just outside of Zion National Park. The weather was perfect. Evevryone had a great time.
Oh my goodness, where do I begin? Our stay in this cabin was fantastic! The views, the solitude, the fishing, and of course the cabin was all perfect. This rental was immaculately clean, provided all the necessary amenities to be away from home, and the property owners were always quick to respond to questions or provide information. There is fishing close to the property. It's a very short drive to Cedar Breaks, Brianhead and other fun destinations. We will be back!
Our granddaughter wanted to see the solar eclipse for her birthday. We couldn't have selected a better site to observe this phenomenal event. The cabin was immaculate and very appealing. It was very peaceful and quiet. We actually did observe deer from the Jacuzzi and enjoyed watching a cute little marmot that lived next door. However, the most amazing amenity was the west facing deck which offered a perfect view of the eclipse. Wow! I would definitely recommend this cabin. The owners were accessible and accommodating.
My fiance', 16 month old little girl, 16 year old daughter, 12 year old son and 3 of my colleagues rented this beautiful property for a weekend stay. First and foremost the owner was very pleasant when I called to reserve and was very quick with getting everything to me. The directions that they provide are perfect and we found this property when it was very dark with no problem at all. When we first drove up and saw it in person we were all very excited as we were looking forward to this fishing getaway. The place was immaculate! Since it was a bit chilly outside, we turned the heat on right away and it got warm real quick. The views are to die for!! The kitchen was my favorite. So spacious with again the views. All beautiful stainless steel appliances and they have everything there that was needed! All you need to bring is the food, clothes and a toothbrush.. you are set. The first morning as we were cooking breakfast 4 gorgeous deer were right there in the backyard from the window view :-) The snow was melting from the mountains so Swains Creek was "ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL". Walking distance. Very relaxing and peaceful. As we were driving back from Panguitch after fishing, again we saw 4 more deer along Swains Creek. I highly recommend this property to stay for a family or a romantic getaway! Perfect!! The pictures that are shown are exactly what you get, but of course seeing it in person is even better! We will be back, for sure!! Thank you!!
