Reasonably priced accommodation: 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment at Villas del Mar Beach Resort, a recently built oceanfront complex in Loiza, between San Juan and Rio Grande, close to Isla Verde, Condado. 30 minutes from Fajardo and the ferries to the islands of Vieques and Culebra and its famous Flamenco Beach . This budget travel deal has 2 balconies, patio, walking distance beach, tennis and basketball courts, gym & sauna, 2 parking spaces, gated access and more. Ideal for affordable family vacation in the northern coast of this Caribbean island.

This relaxing getaway is located only 14 miles from San Juan Intl Airport (SJU), accessible through several routes. Away from the noise and traffic of the city but within minutes of shopping malls (Beltz Outlets), renowned golf courses (Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club, Trump International Golf, Westin Rio Mar Beach), casinos, horse tracks, local restaurants and world famous natural attractions such as the Yunque National Park

Reservation: 35% total rent ($250 min.) payable in advance to reserve, remaining rent payable at check-in.

Refundable security/damage deposit of $150 payable at check-in. Refunded after check-out inspection.

Regular Check-in time 3pm, Check-out time noon. We can make special arrangements.

Cancellations: Full return (less $50 cancel fee) if cancel in written at least 45 days prior to check-in. Unused portion return if evacuation is ordered by authorities, or the National Weather Service issues a tropical storm or hurricane warning for Puerto Rico.

Other: Discounts for couples (sharing one room) and military, one week min. stay.

$100 off if staying a second week.

Loiza is a town located 12-15 miles away from San Juan. You can go there by several routes, the scenic Rd 187 along the coastline, the old Rd 3 and the new tollway Rd 66. It is also close to Rio Grande where you can enjoy its beautiful golf courses and El Yunque Rain Forest, and minutes away from the towns of Luquillo and Fajardo. Puerto Rico Open 2012 will be at Trump International Golf Club, 20 minutes from the property. Loiza is a town with rich cultural traditions. St Patrick Church (1645) in Loiza is the oldest on the island still active as a parish church. Explore Cueva de Maria La Cruz caves with archaeological finds dating back to archaic days. Loíza is the best place to sample the Puerto Rican variety of Afro-Caribbean cuisine. The Loíza Carnival celebrates the African heritage of the town of Loíza. This annual folk (last week of July) festival features a religious ceremony, carnival, parade, floats, costumes, masks and bomba dancers. A lively Afro-Caribbean dance, bomba is at the root of the Puerto Rico's African heritage.

Awesome Puerto Rico Getaway

Our Puerto Rico vacation was amazing! First, the pictures of the apartment do not do it justice. When we arrived at our villa, we were pleasantly surprised how large and clean it was. The bedrooms were spacious with fresh linens, and both bathrooms were spotless. The kitchen was very nicely equipped, so it was easy to cook up the local groceries we purchases. Also, there are front and back patios to enjoy the tropical weather.
The complex has about 200 units, and we were lucky to have the place nearly to ourselves. There are two pools and a hot tub to enjoy - all very clean and private. Additionally, every morning we walked to our private beach area and enjoyed a morning swim.
The owner met us at our apartment the first night we arrived and provided us with a map of the surrounding area so we could explore on our own. He was very helpful and made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend this apartment rental if you want to really enjoy Puerto Rico outside the hustle and bustle of San Juan.

Nice clean condo, the complex was empty so we had the pool and the beach to our selfs. luis provides everything you need for the pool or the beach. He has a nice big igloo cooler you can use.
The only draw back about the condo is the master bed and pillows are not good if you have a bad back, you might want to bring your own pillow, but every thing else was perfect and the kids loved their room.

The location is out of the way a little bit and if you do not know Puerto Rico, Loiza can be a bit of a coulture shock because of its poverty but you will find the locals very nice and some great food in the area.

Luis was great, he met us by the airport and gave use the condo keys and gave us all of the info we needed, then right be for we checked out of the condo he came by and over looked the condo and gave us ower deposit back that same night thru Pay Pal.

The most amazing condo with awesome beach!

We had an excellent time at the condo. We preferred it so much more to our first one, the pools were awesome and the beach was one of the most beautiful in all of Puerto Rico. We don't have one negative thing to say about the condo unit. The iquanas were amazing - the kids were in awe of them. And the beach towels and chairs were so handy. It was also thoughtful of you to have extra supplies handy - that was excellent. Thank you very much and I would completely recommend your condo to others.

We just got home from PR. We enjoyed staying in Luiz's condo. Luiz met us at the car rental and we followed him to the condo. He also came back and inspected the condo this morning and gave us our deposit back. The condo and beds are comfortable. There is a washer and dryer in the condo. Luiz also lets you use his ice chest, beach towels, and chairs for the beach. It is a little ways from the condo to the beach but you can drive your car down and unload. No Big Deal! The beach is very nice and so are the pools. We loved sitting on the back porch and drinking coffee every morning. It is also convenient to El Yonque. Bottom line is this is a great place for the money and Luiz the owner can be trusted.
