Charming Cottage at the edge of town and 1.5 miles from Surfside beach recently renovated. Bright 3 bedrooms two baths house features something for everyone in your party: For the younger group, HD Flat screen TV's, cordless phone, I-Pod station,HD DVD players, internet access. For the chef in your party: a well appointed kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steal refrigerator, microwave, wine refrigerator stove with warming drawer. For the active one: beautiful bike path from the house to each end of the island, a sufing beach 5 minutes by car, a golf course withing a mile and an ice rink within less than mile. Enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the house, relax in the shade or sun or simply enjoy a walk to town or the wind mill. This house is perfectly located within 1 mile from Main Street and close to every beach you can dream of.

Lovely cottage for family beach vacation

We stayed here with our family--including my mom and our three year old and had a wonderful time. This spotless cottage is well appointed, with high quality furnishings and a kitchen that's a joy to cook in. The location is convenient to downtown (1.5 miles) the grocery store (1 mile) and beaches (about 1.5 miles to Dionis) The Hitchcocks are wonderful hosts, and have thought of everything--there are soft beach towels, sand chairs, an umbrella, and a large cooler for a beach picnic--everything you need to have a relaxing beach vacation. The home electronics--from high-speed wireless, to comcast on demand rival our setup at home. There's also a lovely flower garden on the well-tended property. This will be our Nantucket home away from home. I can't recommend the cottage highly enough.

Beautiful beach house with great amenities

The house was perfect for a relaxing and luxurious beach vacation. The house is beautifully renovated and very tastefully furnished. The rooms are wonderfully spacious with great light and windows. We found everything we could possibly need - from a very well stocked kitchen and brand-new grill to television, DVD and internet access. We particularly appreciated the ample high quality bed linens and towels - no cheap, scratchy items here! Everything is new, clean and in perfect shape. The owner could not have been more accomodating and helpful. Enjoy the lovely flower gardens surrounding the house.

The location is great for access to town, beaches, Bartlett Farm (our favorite place) and bike paths. Centrally located on a quiet residential street with a lovely yard.

We highly recommend this house to anyone looking to enjoy a week (or more) on Nantucket. We've rented several other houses on Nantucket over the last five years and this is one of the very nicest. We would definitely return.
