The George Cottage, a 1898 Lake Ontario cottage, is a five-bedroom house available for weekly /monthly rental. This quiet lakeside summer home in Chaumont NY, has been in the family for generations. It is a visual delight full of wonderful period pieces.

A 37’ x 13’ foot porch with a 180 degree panoramic view thru a grove of cedars provides one of the most spectacular views of Chaumont Bay.

A new back deck overlooks 240 acres of walking fields behind the house. Excellent biking and rollerblading are to be had on the quiet, silky-smooth 7.5 Mile Point Road loop around Point Salubrious.

A shoreline deck and dock provide fishing and swimming steps from the front door. A Sunfish sailboat is available for use. Weekly housekeeping is available.

Nearby towns include Clayton, Cape Vincent, Alex Bay and Sackets Harbor. The picturesque Thousand Islands are 11 miles from Chaumont Bay. Watertown is the largest city in the vicinity for major shopping.
