Folly Courtyard Entry with Sun Deck - Pet Friendly!

Stayed for a long week-end with friend and daughter and her husband. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely deck...very comfortable with lots of privacy. The only downside is that the smaller bedroom is quite small but worked fine for our group. The master bedroom has plenty of space with comfortable king bed. Location is great...access right across the street and still a walkable distance to downtown. This was my 5th trip to Folly in the last year and would definitely stay here again with a small group.

My husband and i just returned from a weekend stay in Folly. We go many times every year and this was our first disapointing trip. We took my husbands parents as a birthday gift and they were miserable. The apartment was not clean--the shower had pink mold and globs of hair. There was no soap to wash your hands or do the dishes. No towels to dry dishes, no napkins, or paper towels. We were only given one roll of bathroom tissue. It cost us $20 at the local market to get the basic needs for the weekend.

The apartment smelled like smoke mixed with dog. It was old and not well maintained. The TV was ancient and missing buttons and the remote did not work. Before we booked I was told the air conditioning was set on 68 in the apartment downstairs. The apartment felt as if there was no air at all. It was cooler outside than it was in the house. You were required to bring your own linens as well as your own towels. This was just a miserable experience for us and so sad since it was a gift to our parents. We paid a lot of money for two nights (more than others wonderful places we have stayed) and it was beyond disapointing. There are so many nice beach homes in Folly. . .save yourself and pick another!

This a tidy, uncluttered cottage which was exactly what we needed with our rambunctious 5-year old. We certainly did not want a condo with someone's knickknack collection.
It was very comfortable, with a thick carpet, nice beds, a pleasant deck and more.
Service is excellent!! I had trouble finding the key and called the owner. She was there before I put my phone away.
As we were packing up to leave, my little grandson summed up our thoughts, "Can us come back here again please!"
