Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at your home in Abilene.
The photos are great, but they don't quite do justice to the house. The property was spotlessly clean. The yard was well-maintained. The linens on the super comfie beds were delightfully soft and fresh.
Our whole family really enjoyed the lovely pool under the shade of tall trees. We loved the "lap lane" in the pool and the big, soft beach towels by the back door. We were looking for a way to relax and reconnect with our kids for a few days, and this home had it all. The fun, Texas decor, books, comfortable furniture, space, flatscreen TVs, and games made us never want to leave the house. The gourmet kitchen allowed us to cook yummy meals and enjoy them as a family. We did wish that we'd had access to a grill, but the other benefits to the fabulous kitchen outweighed that for us.
The house was located in an older neighborhood with a mixture of BEAUTIFULLY restored homes and more modest older homes. We would have loved to have known some of the history of this house. The fixtures, stairway, front door, etc were absolutely gorgeous.
The owner was patient, kind, helpful, available, and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely return and/or recommend the house to others.
