Newer Custom Lakefront Home

My husband and I took our three little children (a 4-year-old and 2-year-old twins) to Rolling Birch Cottage for a late summer vacation. The setting was beautiful with woods to the front and a lake to the rear. We loved using the rowing boat and the pedal boat that came with the property. And the highlight was perhaps toasting marshmallows over the fire while we watched the sunset! Also, it was just a short walk into Lake Ann for the general store, cafe, ice cream parlor and playground. The location in terms of day trips was fantastic with short drives to Empire and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, Glen Arbor, Leland ('Fishtown'), Northport and, of course, Traverse City. As for the house itself, we found it to be furnished satisfactorily although there was a problem with the electrical outlets on the main floor and with the air conditioning, but I'm sure those issues have been sorted out now. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Lake Bryan was wonderful! My wife, kids and I absolutely loved being there. We have vacationed around the Lake Ann area for several years now because the area is nice and relaxing. We tried this location because our previous area was sold and I must say we loved it every bit as much. The lake is not busy and is nice for the kids to play in. The water is very clean and its fun to take the pedal boat out and cruise the lake. Jeanine and Dan have the place very nicely decorated and every thing we could need was provided. Clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved the little town, great pizza, ice cream and handy store. We plan to stay again soon!

What a fantastic place. Quiet location, lovely view, superb furnishings, we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed this rental, best one we've been to so far and hope to return in the future.
