Perfect for our needs

We rented both the upper and lower flats of this large, attractive, clean and well-maintained property in a neighborhood of historic homes near Boston College and Chestnut Hill shopping areas. We had the lower unit for a week and the upper for five nights.
The units suited extremely well our purpose of having a comfortable residence for our daughter and her large family (upstairs) and for ourselves, one son and our best friend (all downstairs) while we were in town for our older son's wedding in at DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Garden in Lincoln, a short drive to the northwest on major highways. We enjoyed morning walks in the neighborhood, marveling at some of the lovely large houses along tree-lined streets.
Both kitchens were fully equipped for cooking, and we lacked nothing in preparing for a pre-wedding party for both families in the downstairs unit or making pancakes for our four grandchildren.
The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. There was plenty of hot water.
The air conditioning worked flawlessly and quietly despite a major heat wave, with the temperature hitting 104 degrees one days and being over 90 degrees the entire stay.
The bedrooms accommodated the number of persons listed on HomeAway, the beds were firm enough and the closets ample to store both casual and wedding attire. There were family rooms in both flats and the dining rooms were huge.
Wifi access was very easy and signals were strong. TV reception was terrific, though we spent little time viewing, instead favoring visits to the Boston Museum of Science and the Duck Tour, both kids' favorites. I got to explore family history, visiting the site of my late grandparents' house in Waltham.
The owner is very fair, friendly and business-like. She honored all terms of our agreement and we were very pleased to get a chance to meet her in person, which took place at our request. She is a very nice woman. We received a refund of our security deposit promptly after we returned home.
In sum, when our plans call for a trip back to Boston, we would stay here in a heartbeat.
