Weather permitting. Area offers playground in the sand as well as winding beach walk heading south. Take in a dinner of Florida's famed grouper, stone crab, and key lime pie. Walk the strip along Mandalay Avenue, the heart of Clearwater Beach for outdoor and indoor dining. The Clearwater Municipal Marina launches dolphin encounter rides, the Sea Screamer, fish charters, and more. For a closer look at a bottlenose dolphin, try the Clearwater Marine Aquarium with its tank of local fish and loggerhead turtles. The cities of Tampa and St Petersburg are about 30 minutes away. Orlando /Tampa: We are less than two hours from Orlando and its theme parks of Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and more. It is via Interstate Four. Disney Exits begin at 62. We are 45 minutes from Busch Gardens in Tampa along with its water park.
