Great Little Paradise Near the Beach

This was a great place to stay, a suberb location. Within a short walking distance to the beach, which made it easy to make the early morning trip to the beach every morning to walk and watch the sunrises (great photo opportunities)and evening walks along the beach. The house is perferct for a couple or a family with young children. The deck all around the house offered a wonderful place to relax and to enjoy the scenery all around. Check out the dock out the back gate, offers a spectacular view of the river and of Morris Lighthouse, and if you just want a quiet place to read or relax there is a neat little bench at the end of the dock to sit and enjoy the sunsets. The house offers all the enmities of home, well maintained and clean. They offer bicycles to ride and all the beach accessories to use for time on the beach. Close to downtown for shopping and dining out, the pier (we recommend Locklears on the pier, great food) or a trip to Morris Lighthouse. Folly Beach is not a place to travel by car, there is not much parking available. Great place for walking and bike riding or just relaxing on the beach. Folly Beach is close to Charleston and Sullivans Island, if you want to do some sightseeing off the island. We recommend Folly Beach and Sunset in Paradise to our friends and anyone looking for a smaller house with a great location close to the beach. All I wanted to do was be able to take early morning walks on the beach and find great photo opportunities, so I can say my vacation was fulfilled.

Best. Vacation Home. EVER!!

This home has everything!! Perfect location just steps from the beach, and the backyard has a beautiful view with dock that goes out onto the marsh for crabbing! The home was immaculate and had every accomodation you could ask for: Bedding, pots/pans, beach chairs, even beach toys!!

This is, hands down, the best vacation spot I have ever been to. Everything was taken care of to the finest detail and the owners were very easy to deal with. Definately coming back next year.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Convenient beach access. Beautiful sunset from the back porch and dock. I would definitely stay at the Sunset in Paradise again.

One of the best beach houses I have ever rented. The views are unbelievable. The complementary bikes were a nice suprise. I will be renting again when I return to Folly Beach.

The perfect vacation!

We stayed with our two kids 9 and 6, for four full days. The house has everything one needs to make you feel comfortable immediately, including the garage with all the beach gadgets and the bikes and the crab fishing gadgets. The beach is so close and is beautiful, ideal. The back of the house has access to the marsh where you get the most beautiful sunsets and have fun fishing crabs. Folly beach has a nice downtown with places to eat and shop and the crosby fish market was a great hit where to buy fresh fish everyday and the kids saw real sharks as the fishermen brought them every morning, and had a boat ride to the lighthouse with dauphins around.
