24 Foot ceilings in the living/dining area feature original, hand-cut beams in this classic New England Barn converted to a comfortable home with all modern conveniences. Big sliding glass doors look out on splendid views across a 7-acre meadow and the valley to Jiminy Peak. The great room has a wood burning stove and a field-stone fireplace that can be used to enjoy a warm glow after a day on the slopes. The 2nd-floor balcony has its own couch and chairs but is also open to the main room and views. The kitchen comfortably seats 4-5; the dining area 8-10. You’ll find a mix of queen, double and twin beds in the 4 bedrooms, plus a large loft space for extra guests. Our 120 acre property offers hiking in the snowy woods and x-country skiing and snow-shoeing on our meadows. Just 7 miles from Jiminy, and close to other local slopes, this is also a perfect base for day trips to southern Vermont resorts.

Our air conditioner (one bedroom), ceiling fans (main room) and other desktop fans are seldom used, since we catch a nice breeze coming up from the meadow. For the odd mid-summer cool evening, a cheery fire is perfect in either our stone fireplace or our wood burning stove.
