Bajamar Vacation Rental villa

My husband and I have vacationed to Ensenada/Baja several times with his family and friends and each time we've stayed at this house and loved it! The house is huge and the private suites allow for quiet retreat (especially nice when you have several couples or a big family).
The lanai deck directly overlooks the golf course and ocean. We spent hours just soaking in the sun, listening to the waves, and whale-spotting. The kitchen has full amenities (including plates and silverware -- a convenient touch) and the owners have taken care to make sure everything is clean, bright, sunny, and modern.
We enjoyed the security of being in a gated community and we all loved the hotel amenities -- breakfast was decadent (!!) and the staff all speak perfect English.
Really, the best vacation home in Mexico -- an absolute delight. My husband and I look forward to going there again soon!

This villa truly has a gorgeous ocean view from all three balconies. The pictures on the website are exactly what you see upon arrival. The suites are huge and afford privacy for up to 5 couples, each with it's own bathroom. Our family of 8 all had their own space to retreat to when desired, yet we could gather upstairs in the living/dining area when we wanted to all be together. Once inside the front entrance, there is a wonderful private courtyard which afforded an outdoor area for sunning or chatting. It also allowed us to leave the villa doors open when we were there, so that those of us on other levels could easily go back and forth between their rooms and the main living area. Being able to use the resort amenities was a huge plus. There is a pool and jacuzzi at the hotel, and also a pool in the "neighborhood". We ate at the hotel restaurant many times, and the staff was very friendly. The owners of this villa are easy to work with, and I would recommend this property to anyone. If you have smaller children, or elderly, there could be some issues with stairs. There is also only one working television, which is in the living room, if that matters to your group. Our family had a faboulous vacation here, and left with many special memories to look back on. We all miss falling asleep listening to the waves crashing on the rocks outside our bedroom doors.

I don't normally write reviews on things, but I've gone down a few times with my family, and this house was everything I could ask for every time we've used it. The location gives you an amazing view of the ocean, and I absolutely love to spend my evenings out on that deck with the doors open to let the breeze flow through.
