Description of the Taos vacation house rental
Casa de los Pasajeros (House of the Wayfarers) is a step into old world ambiance, romanticism and a way of life far from the madding crowds. It is a short walk to the El Monte Sagrado Resort and Spa and the Taos Plaza. The grounds are spacious, well-appointed with seven apple trees and flowering gardens. Located on the property is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath Main House which sleeps 1-5. Please ask about our guest house! You will find refreshing authenticity in this property rather than the typical condo rental experience. The owners are 20-year residents of Taos rather than operated by property management companies, real estate agents or other commercial interests. Interior is exquisitely furnished with antiques, fine art, Southwest libraries, fine cabinetry, custom tile-work. Lovely portal, outdoor seating area, chimney and even a horno for baking bread in the old world tradition! Ask about our other accommodations...

Large deep set windows falls close to the oak floors. The kitchen and cabinets are custom made with brunt copper doors. The kitchen and bath floors are satillo tile; the master bath tub is surrounded with silver accented Italian tile. The home has thick adobe walls, wonderful interior colors. The master bedroom has an antique brass bed. A queen size futon is in the second bedroom, allowing it to be a bedroom/library room. All counter-tops and basins are Mexican tile. The house is superbly decorated with the finest in antiques, a rare collection of oil paintings and other fine art. A lovely kiva fireplace accentuates the spacious living/dining room. Comfortably accommodates 1-5 guests. Please ask about our other lodging.
