Wellfleet Vacation Rental house

Beware!!
Please do not make the same mistake we did. I thought this place looked cute and inviting. I spoke with the landlord and asked questions regarding some of the mentioned amenities included. I was assured that the green kayak , all the floats for the pool ,and the air conditioning was included for the week rental. When we arrived the rental was not at all like the picture in the rental description. In the back where the pool is was very overgrown and full of weeds, broken chairs, there were floats , all with holes and half broken pieces, no kayak! The land lord it turns out lives right next door. The landlord just dropped in any time she felt like it. Upon arrival she said that we needed to give her an amount of money cyber rentals will not let us publish for security deposit. That was fine until 2 ½ weeks and 2 renters later after our departure she cashed the check. I called at least 10 times to ask her to explain why she had cashed the check and had no response she would not the calls return any calls and I then sent a certified letter and she had returned it to me unclaimed. I sent the certified letter to the P.O. box that I sent the rental payment to. I still have not received an explanation for the cashed deposit. We questioned her about the kayak and she had said a friend had borrowed it she would try and get it back for us. She did get the kayak for us and then 2 days later knocked on the door and said her friend needed the kayak back so she took it. As far as the air conditioner, it is ONLY in the (if you call it ) the master bedroom, not in the whole house. You may notice in the pictures the throws on the couches, well the throws are there to hide the chewed up arm rests where it is evident that it had been chewed many times by a big dog. The renter is in charge of cleaning (that is why there is no cleaning fee). Therefore I really was not sure that the sheets and towels were clean. The path to the bay is a good 15 minute walk so don’t be fooled that it is close. The pool is freezing. This really was a very bad mistake on my part. If it seems to good to be true , it is.
