Mixed bag
The location was accurate. The cabin is at the end of a dirt trail with the river on 2 sides. All of the amenities listed were present. The water was perfect for fishing. 2 bends, snags, downed trees, an island and undercut banks. Landed a 16" brown my first time fly fishing for trout on my own. The place is rustic, and if no neighbors are home, secluded feeling. During the summer particularly on the weekend, I would expect a fair amount of people within 100 or so feet and coming past on the river twice. The furnace and fireplace worked well.
We however were VERY disappointed in the cleanliness, or rather total lack thereof. I swept up a dust pan worth of dirt, dog hair and debris off the wood floor before we settled in. There were rodent feces all over the place. The dining table and dishes, the cabinets, the stove top, the floor and worst was the closet that no longer has a washer and dryer was a rodent nest smelling of urine too. The cleaning tools were poor and with no washer/dryer, no ability to clean towels or bed sheets. The hot tub was running but smelled like hot river water. I want to smell chlorine in a heated covered body of water before I get in. There is a ton of nick knacks that 55 year old women will find "neat" but were all covered in dust and cobwebs. When we contacted the representative to discuss our displeasure with state of the place and find out would they do anything to make it better, we got the typical used car salesman line to the effect that "I need to check with my boss". Yeah, haven't heard back in 6 months.
Not going to stay here again, or recommend to anyone.
