“The house where sweet dreams
drift by…..”
This “ Gem “ of a house is really beautifully furnished, kitchen , bathrooms equipment etc .perfect and clean, as all the rest, for that matter, most comfortable beds out of which one never wishes to get out until the brain wakes up to its senses telling you to rush and get up so to open all the many windows and doors and allow the sun , the light and all the glitters coming from the lake to get in and dance playfully in the soft-multicolored rooms…….then you step out into a wonderland of natural beauties: ( apart from another flash of blue water reflected by the swimming pool) a slither of green grass and…a wonderful lake , a festive playground for native inhabitants : birds (ibis, herons,cranes, crows, doves , green parroquets , ….) shy iguanas…. Area : very quiet , nice neighbours. Location : perfect, you’ll find yourselves pampered and nestled in a crystal bubble ..Skischool: excellent , just check the owner 's performances and her husband 's credentials, not only as a “ boat “ pilot…..I,we, could go on and on…….with complimenting …..Owners: : the nicest, most adorable, discreet , helpful , people in the world . if you think we are exaggerating it….give it a try! You won’t regret it….Finally, on a more personal note, the house on the lake was, is, will always hold a special place in our hearts and keep the sweetest memories….Forever.

This is a great house! My husband, myself and our son stayed for a week. You can't go wrong with the views, the wildlife and the water skiers going by! Ann was VERY accomodating with everything!! We definitely would like to plan on coming back in the future... Thanks Ann for making our stay so nice and relaxing! Hope to see you this year!

Hi JP and Ann,
Thanks again for having us in your relaxing, quiet home. We really enjoyed watching the water skiiers by the pool. Your house met our needs nicely, expecially the very comfortable beds. We enjoyed chatting with Jim and eating the delicious star fruit and tangerines he gave us. It's too bad the pool isn't heated, but we did use the hot tub regularly. We hated to leave and return to snow. Ohio Couples

My wife and I was staying in this house for 1 month. From the time we stepped in the frontdoor of the house, we felt comfortable and after 10 minutes we loved being in the house. Every thing was clean and nice, super views of the lake, where you almost everyday see the training on some of usa best water skiers, which was very interesting. Unbelievable wildlife around the house and the lake, which is hard to describe, but you just have to experience. We love the pool and Hottub as we used a lot. The house is located close to supermarket, restaurant and fantastic shopping in some of the biggest mall in FL. The beach is only 12 minutes drive away and not forgetting lot of the incredible golf courses located very close to the house. It is or 5th time in Fort Lauderdale area and the best ever. It was very hard to leave the house and go home from this vacation. So we have already rented the house again next year. Big thanks to the owner Ann and J. P. McGinnis for their kindness and make things so easy for us. Look forward to come back next year.

Wir mieteten das Haus für 1 Woche. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Mein Sohn angelt sehr gern und wir bekamen von den Vermietern eine Angel geliehen. Das Haus ist in Ordnung. Es ist sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Sehr gut fanden wir den beheizten Whirlpool. Diesen genossen wir jeden Abend. Was uns aber sehr störte war der Baulärm der große Baustelle an dem Autobahnkreuz Turnpike und 595. Morgens um 8 Uhr wurde man von dem Lärm geweckt und der ging bis nachmittags. Dieses Autobahnkreuz ist sehr groß und auch ohne Baustelle hört man den Verkehr. Auf den Bildern ist davon nichts zu sehen. Aber dieses Autobahnkreuz ist wirklich sehr nah. Des Weiteren liegt das Haus in der Einflugschneise des Flughafens. Bei bedecktem Wetter hört man wenig, wenn es aber schön ist, ist es nicht ruhig. Wir waren froh, das Haus nur für eine Woche gemietet zu haben.
Das Haus und der See wären eine Idylle, würde es den Flugplatz und das Autobahnkreuz in der Nähe nicht geben. We rented the house for one week. The owners are very nice and helpful. The house is clean and functional. Very well, we found the hot tub. This we enjoyed every evening. What bothered us was the very great road works at the intersection Turnpike and 595th. That began at 8 o´clock in the morning and earlier and ended in the afternoon. The motorway junction is very large and you can hear the traffic when you're lying by the pool. Also you can see the aircrafts. When the weather is overcast it is not so loud, but if is beautiful it is not quiet. We were glad to have rented the house for one week only. The house and the lake would be an idyll, if it would not stand in the near from the airport and the motorway junction. Sorry for mistakes on my part but American is not my first language.

The road construction by the interstate is a billion and a half dollar improvement project to the south Florida area. It was a nuisance and noise to many, however it has now finished and is not an issue, we are sorry it bothered you and hope it did not spoil your vacation. The interstate which is a way across the lake can only be slightly heard when there is a west wind, our prevailing wind is always from the east. The airplanes landing at the airport are not heard and not going over the house, the airport is 15 minutes car ride. Many people enjoy seeing the planes and they are delivering tourists to our thriving vacation spot here in South Florida. We thank you for staying with us hope you enjoyed your first visit to America! .
