Large welcoming house located off the road surrounded by private 33 acres of garden, ponds and woodland with hunting permitted. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen, large dining room and comfortable sitting room with huge TV. One en-suite master bedroom plus 3 large bedrooms all on separate floor. Close to numerous ski resorts plus hiking and snowmobiling nearby. Beautiful foliage in the fall king plus explore antiques and farmers markets in nearby towns. Nearby attractions include Howes Caves, Mine Kill State Park, Kaaterskill Waterfalls, Catskills National Park, Baseball Hall of Fame, and Iroquois Indian Museum. Easy drive to nearby town for groceries and other necessities. Under 3 hour drive from New York City, under one hour from Albany airport.

It is the perfect house! The layout & amenities are ideal - open kitchen onto a fabulous deck overlooking the expanse of the garden and woods, lovely sitting room and 4 extremely comfortable & large bedrooms. The location is excellent - large outdoor pool 5 min drive, hiking, fishing & golf nearby. We had a great summer holiday with adults and children of all ages and would have completely recommend this house to friends and relatives, as long as they leave a few weeks for us to come back! Look forward to returning to enjoy it in the winter.

We also enjoyed a weekend winter vacation in this house. It is spacious and sleeps 8 comfortably; the house is kept in immaculate condition. The open fire makes for very cozy and atmospheric evenings after a day skiing.

We had a great holiday getaway in this spacious, well situated, well cared for house. It comfortably accommodated four couples and the nicely equipped kitchen allowed for some fun group dinners. There are nice hiking trails and parks nearby and plenty of amenities available in the nearby towns. Also, the owner is very pleasant to deal with.
