REGATTA-GULF VIEW-VANDERBILT BEACH/NAPLES

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Regatta. The owner has made the condo both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened lanai, overlooking the harbor and the Gulf.

The description was very accurate, actually better than described. Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.
The owner provided excellent service. We received information and keys so that we knew exactly how to get to the condo. The owner also had flowers and a discount coupon for a local grocery store waiting for us.
We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone staying in the Naples area.
We were in Naples to attend the annual shell festival at Sanibel. The unit is about an hour from Sanibel. While in the Naples area, we had lunch at the Turtle Cove on Vanderbilt Beach--great food and view of gulf--be sure to request dinner reservations far in advance. We also had a great lunch at Randy's Seafood on HWY 41. We had the best fish and chips--they use the cuttings from their fresh white fish each day--and the largest servings ever!!
Downtown Naples is a must--beautiful shops and restaurants. We had dinner at Trilogy on 5th Avenue and it was elegant and delicious.
Be sure to drive down Gordon Drive to see the old Naples mansions--we saw one home that is on the market for a mere 24 million dollars.
The Miromar outlets are pretty good if you like outlets. It has a large selection, including a QVC outlet, if you are hooked on home shopping.
As a recap, Regatta is a wonderful place to stay, but you need to be in Building 1 or 2 to have a gulf view. Units in building 1 ending in 02 or 03 have the best views.
