Night Entertaiment:
Delray Beach is only 10 minutes to the north, you can enjoy a beautiful beach water front, avenue restaurants, shps and boat rides. On West Palm Beach, 40 min. north , you'll find the Kravis Ctr Theater, City Place with great stores, restaurants, movie theater, live music and water splash for kids at summer time.
If you decide to go south, in 30 min. you'll find Fort Lauderdale with entertainment like no other place. A variety of restaurants, beaches, theater, and lots of free summer events.
Drive a little further south and you can be in Maimi or South Beach, where the rich and famous live. (less than a hour from the house)
Family Entertaiment:
Spanish River Park is a great asset just around the corner from the house, with playground, nature trail, bathrooms, showers, picnic table and grill. The park has direct acceess to a beautiful neighborhood beach. Or you can choose to snorkell at Red Reef Park, which is down the road. Another good choice for a beach is South inlet on A1A and Camino Real. If you want to eat and enjoy a Ocean view go to JBs in Deerfield Beach 15 min south of Boca.. Here you can also take a walk down the Pier, where people fish. Boca Raton has a great children's park, Sugar Sand Park on Military Trail and Camino Real. On Cliint Moore west is the Morikami Japonese Gaden and Musem. Also on the west side of Yamato, after 441, there is a wonderful Miunicipal Water Park. To explore nature, take the kids to Gumbo Limbo on Palmetto Rd in Boca.West alm Beach has Rapid Water Park where you can stay all day long. In Fort Lauderdale there is a great Children's Museum.
Sports:
If you are a cyclist you will enjoy a morning ride on A1A. In Forth Lauderdale you can go parasail, windsurf, and jetski. Boca Raton has its municipal golf course on Glades Rd. and there is another one close by in Derlray Beach. For fishing go to the Pier in Deerfield or on South Inlet Park On Camino Real.
