Description of the Lake Sinissippi vacation cabin rental
Quaint cottage on beautiful Lake Sinissippi. Just a short trip from Milwaukee/Madison (about 60 miles from both), about 140 miles from Chicago but you'll feel like you're in the 'north woods'. Quiet and restful, enjoy deer, herons, pelicans, loons ... you may even spot one of the bald eagles heading to their nest! Check out what is down-river from our cabin and features birding expeditions, canoe and boat tours.

One of our visitors loved the location of our cabin, which allowed them to travel to Green Bay for a Packer's game, Milwaukee for a Brewer's game, Wisconsin Dells and Madison for day trips. Our central location is ideal for touring beautiful Wis.
Lake Sinissippi and Hustisford are historical areas that celebrate their rich heritage with festivals during the year:
**Music in the park, which features local an annual six pack of musucal memories held at the Memorial Park Bandstand on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays June thru Aug., 7 to 9 pm;
**Venetian Night, the last full weekend in August, with the Lion's Steak Fry on Friday night, a parade, jr. tractor pull, bingo, ski show, Venetian Queen competition, a lighted boat parade, and a dance on Sat.
**Weekly ski shows on the lake on Thursdays beginning at 7 pm
**John Hustis Museum, open from Mem. Day through Sept. on the 2nd & 4th Sun. of the month, 1-3 pm
marks the location of the property in Southern Wisconsin
