Relax and rejuvenate in our luxurious beach house. This 2004-built 3400 square foot home will meet your every need: Wake up each morning in your 3rd floor master bedroom with spectacular views of the lake, lighthouse and pier. Enjoy coffee on your master bedroom deck or lounge on one of the other 3 decks (over 500 square feet of decking total, one deck off each level of the home). Cook in our gourmet kitchen complete with stainless, granite and tons of space. Enjoy the beach right outside your back door. The kids will love their bunk room complete with bunks, and big screen TV. They will also love their playroom with all the toys, books and crafts they need...and another TV! Each bathroom is high-end and well-appointed including a jacuzzi bath in the master. The home also has a media room with big screen TV, cable, Internet, whole-house speaker system, surround sound, laundry room, outside shower and all the beach toys your could need for your vacation in the sun.

We're on the beach, AND close to both Silver Beach (3 minute walk) and Lions Park Beach (1 minute walk) both beaches have excellent facilities for children. We are a 5 minute walk to the quaint town of St. Joseph filled with shops, restaurants, art museum, children's museum, bike rentals, piers and community events, festivals, parades, markets and art fairs. We are within a 2 minute walk to the train station (1.5 hours from Chicago). If you feel the need to travel tour wine country (20 minutes by car), New Buffalo (30 minutes), Saugatuk/Douglas (30-40 minutes), South Haven, Grand Haven, Muskegon (enjoy Michigan Adventure Amusement Park/Water Park) and Grand Rapids.

I can't say enough great things about this beautiful home. The pictures only tell a fraction of the story of how wonderful this place is. The location cannot be beat. It is literally steps from the beach and swimable lake in an area that is fairly secluded from the larger beach crowds. It feels like you have the beach to yourself.

I went with my family in August and it was nice to be so close to the beach and a short walk to town (less than 1/2 mile). We never had to use our car. My kids enjoyed both parks that were walkable on both sides of us.

The house was immaculate and had every amenity you could think of - and thensome. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the time with our kids. The house had plenty of room and the two outdoor deck areas were great for the kids to be out on and for us to eat meals outside. We were also able to use all of the beach items they had at the house (chairs, boogey boards, life jackets, toys, towels etc). We didn't need to bring anything except clothes and food. It made packing for the trip much easier.

The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. They met us there and gave us a tour of the house with details on how to use everything. They provided some helpful insights about the town and things we might be interested in near the house and in town. The owners left us a gift basket with local chocolates that all of us loved as well as magazines about the town and things to do.

Everything about this place (the house, the cleanliness, the location, the amenities etc) exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in St. Joe and specifically our time at this beautiful house. I highly recommend you stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Fun and Sun in St. Joseph

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at the house. The house has everything you need and more. The house was clean and easy to maintain. Spent most of the the time on the large decks overlooking the beach eiher drinking coffee in the morning or eating lunch or dinner in the evening. The family had a great time playing in Lake Michigan (only a few steps away from the back door). House and area are great for relaxing and slowing down. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to return in the near future.
