A comfortable home located directly on the water with a semi-private beach of small rocks. Excellent for sun bathing, swimming, or hunting for crabs and starfish under the rocks at low tide. From your front lawn you'll have an unsurpassed view of the daily parade of lobster boats, sailing yachts and windjammers passing in review. Only ten minutes from downtown Rockland and the Farnsworth Museum and Homestead. Fresh lobsters and fish can be purchased at Owls Head Harbor, two miles away.

My family spent a week in this great house in July 2009. This was our first trip to Maine and it will definitely not be our last. Hopefully we will be able stay in this same house again.

The house has a very comfortable homey feel. The night sky is magnificent and the sound of the waves hitting the beach easily put us to sleep. The beach is perfect for looking for shells and sea glass. It is close enough to Rockland and Camden to get a quick meal, but far enough away to avoid the other tourists.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
