Lands End Lodge is truly at the end of the Door County peninsula. This unique, hand-crafted, European-style, log lodge was constructed from 7 antique dove tailed log homes lovingly reassembled around an original 1860's log home. The lodge has 4 bedrooms including two master suites and 5 fire places. The guest cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath New England-style cedar shingle with fireplace. Lands End is close to all the attractions of Door County yet truly secluded at the end of 3/4 mile private drive. Lands End is our second home and fully furnished as if we lived there full time. You only need food and wine. You can arrange a cooking school in our gourmet kitchen with Savory Spoon cooking school featuring Cordon Bleu Trained Chef Janice Thomas whose school is in Ellison Bay. See the stars as you have never seen them. Get away from it all. Cell phones work at the end of the drive only. High speed internet available as well as satellite TV.

The House is located at the most northern tip of the Door County Peninsula. 1.5 miles from Europe Lake and 2.5 miles from Ellison Bay Beach Park. 2 miles form either the car or passenger ferry to Washington Island. 750 feet of private frontage and 20 acres of forested land. Very secluded and private down a 3/4 mile road.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 3 night weekend packages available Sept 1-June 30. Both houses $3000. 8-10 people. 1-2 extra $500.
  • We do offer 3 night cooking school during the off season. Sept 1-Oct 30. Call for details.
  • Cleaning fee is deducted from damage deposit. Cleaning ranges from $150 to $450. All sheets and towels are washed and beds remade. Homes are fully cleaned after each renter. The cleaner the house the less the cleaning fee.

This one of the most unique pieces of property in Door County, with 750 feet of frontage; 175 feet up on a bluff with access to the stone and swimming beach. 20 acres of privacy. Close to both ferries to Washington Island, Ellison Bay beach and park, Europe Lake. 5 minutes to Gills Rock, 10 minutes to Ellison Bay and 15 to sister Bay. Door county has three historic and active theater groups; an outdoor movie theater, concert auditorium and many world class galleries.
