LUXURY DUCK CREEK PINES CABIN

As nice as this place looks in the photos, it was actually much bigger and more fascinating in real life. We stayed here last winter with friends and I'm way overdue for a review. This was an incredible place with everything one can need. In a particularly heavy snow week and cold weather, this place was warm, cozy, extremely confortable, and plenty of firewood. We had two infants with us and it was great for us and them. They loved the whirlpool bathtub and the place offered plenty of privacy on all 3 floors for all of us that stayed there. The kitchen was well stocked and even came with a wine refrigerator. We had no problems venturing for day trips to Zion or Bryce canyon national parks.


Summer or Winter, we are definitely going back. Thanks for letting us stay there.

My family and I stayed here in August 2012 for four nights. The location is great, driving distance to Bryce, Zion, and Cedar Breaks National Monument. The cabin is in the little village of Duck Creek Village which has a couple of restaurants, and a very small grocery/general store. Duck Creek Village is at high elevation, so it is MUCH cooler up here in the summer than down in the valley. The house is very well equipped with a modern kitchen and all the supplied you need to make some nice dinners. There is also a BBQ on the porch. The place is great for kids and one room even has bunk beds which my kids loved. If you visit don't miss renting ATV's at the Pinewood Resort (next-door) and go off road riding in the Dixie National Forest - it was the highlight of our trip.

Overall the cabin is great - it's very spacious and was perfectly clean when we arrived. One of my best experiences with VRBO, I hope to go back again. The owner was easy to reach and responsive - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We rented the cabin for a family vacation - 5 adults and 2 children. The cabin is beautiful and exactly as advertised on the Homeaway website. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we had one of our best family vacations ever. Mike, the owner, was easy to deal with and refunded our deposit promptly after we returned home.

We visited Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Grand Canyon NP - North Rim, Coral Pink Sands SP,Cedar Breaks NM, Kodachrome Basin SP, and Red Canyon. All were spectacular and an easy day trip from the cabin. We also did several local hikes including Cascade Falls and Strawberry Point. Check in at the Duck Creek Ranger Station for trail free trail maps and info on the local area.

If you want to experience living in an awesome cabin located in a beautiful, pristine pine forest in Dixie National forest and see some of the best National Parks in the USA, then this is the place you should rent. A vacation like this creates lasting family memories and is a great stress reliever.
