Pointe Blanche is the premier residential community on the island and its close proximity makes it the perfect residential location for government or business in the Philipsburg area. Easy access Great Bay Beach just down the hill and on to the French side beaches of Le Galion or Orient Beach or off in the other direction to Simpson Bay and Maho. This beautiful condo is situated high on top of the hill on the San Marcos side of Pointe Blanche just over the hill from Philipsburg and the new cruise ship terminal. Philipsburg is basically located at the bottom of the hill and is within less than a five minute ride. The constant trade wind that keeps this condo cooled (along with A/C if needed) makes this location very desirable and the views from your main floor balcony and Master Bedroom private balcony are absolutely engulfing. This is the perfect location for government or business access to the Philipsburg area.

Directions from Princess Juliana Intl Airport: Leave Airport heading Southwest toward Philipsburg and follow signs for Philipsburg. When arriving in the Philipsburg area (ie stoplight at Northeast end of town) you will be traveling on Pondfill Road. Continue on Pondfill until the second roundabout. Exit roundabout toward Pointe Blanche. Continue until you pass the Whatley cruise ship terminal and then turn left at your next opportunity. Road splits at Saiths Market, go right. Turn right again at the lime green building and at this point you will begin to climb the hill. Pass the last Apartment complex on your right and take the next left. Road switches back twice. Turn right after passing the yellow house on your left. Turn right quickly again and you will be delivered to the backside of the condo complex. You may park b the door of the unit.

Breathtaking views

We just returned from our fourth visit to St. Maarten and enjoyed our stay in this villa. It is reasonably priced and close to Philipsburg but the mountain climb to reach it is not for the faint of heart! The views from the villa are breathtaking and if you enjoy peace and quiet, this would be the place for you. We would have loved A/C on the first floor although both bedrooms upstairs had good A/C. The swimming pool needed to be cleaned and was not useable but after contacting the owner, we know he will get that cleaned. We loved the wireless internet and satellite TV. We did put down the hurricane shutters when we left and in the evening for security as you are not in a resort area.
The owner is available via internet and resolved some minor glitches which we experienced. I would not recommend this villa for anyone with small children because of the cliffs and steep stairs within the villa itself. A handrail on the stairs would be helpful especially if you have trouble navigating steep stairs to the bedrooms.. Overall, we had a good experience and appreciated our stay. St. Maarten is a wonderful place to visit if you have never been there. It is called "the friendly island" and that it IS! Our favorite restaurant was The Greenhouse which is located very close to the villa in Philipsburg. Great service, food & reasonable prices.

One month getaway to Sint Maarten

We had the pleasure of staying in this 2 storey condo in Pointe Blanche and awakened every morning to a breath-taking view of St. Barths.

Sipping coffee on the patio, overlooking the pool, the ocean, and St. Barths is a memory we will always remember.

The condo itself was well-appointed, very clean, and stylished furnished. The location is well away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowd, but very close to Philipsburg and all of the services and amenities a person might need.

The condo is a perfect vacation home for a family of 4. Spacious enough to accomodate to adults and two young boys with a lot of energy, we found being able to prepare our own meals and send the boys out for a swim to be the best of all worlds.

We loved Sint Maarten and will definitely be returning.

The owner provided accurate directions to the location. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner provided excellent beach, restaurant, shopping and car rental recommendations. The owner was always available either on the phone or via the internet. I highly recommend this property.

Beach and Restaurants recommended.

Le Galion beach (French Side): Small children, non-swimmers, whole family.

Great Bay beach (French Side): Jetski and parachute rentals.

Pineapple Pete’s in Simpson Bay: Execellent service and food.

Lido Barbeque: It’s a real basic street barbeque.

Tropical-Tropicana car rental. Was waitting at the airpot for us. New car and economic.

The view of the villa is spectacular.

Internet and sattelite tv was included.

You need to see the airplanes land at Princess Juliana airport from the Maho Beach.

A condo with a breathtaking view

The two story condo is brand new and very comfortable with a terrace (with small pool) and balcony. The view is magnificent and the condo itself has everything you need for a vacation or longer stay on St. Martin. It is situated on top of a mountain, only minutes away (by car) from Philipsburg and the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much.
