In The Middle Of It All

Our family had a very comfortable stay at the Firefly Cottege during our trip to PA. It was convieniently located within about 20-45 minutes to all the major attractions that PA had to offer, yet off the beaten path enough to feel like you were going home at the end of the day. The property was large enough to allow our 3 kids to run, play, and explore, had WiFi to keep us connected to our friends, and the hottub was a blessing at the end of some very tiring days at Hersheypark. The owners were so friendly and helpful in making our stay absolutely the best, and they even had treats for the kids upon arrival. There is a terrific grocery store and many tasty restaurants just minutes away, as well as antiquing galore!!!
The only things I would have to recommend you consider before your stay are that the cottege is located directly on Main Street so there is some minor traffic noise, but nothing that kept us awake at night, there are no bathrooms on the first level, so get used to the stairs, and the doorways are a little lower than usual, which only posed a problem for my husband who kept hitting his head (however, he is 6'6" tall). Otherwise this was a truly wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a personal and family-friendly experience!
