Lincoln Vacation Rental townhome

We stayed here for a weekend along with another couple.

Can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our mini-vacation!!!

We chose this place based on the lovely pictures, but as mentioned before, the pictures do not do this Inn justice!! The view was amazing!

Keren was very helpful (and I had many questions, as none of us had rented a condo like this before) and she was very thorough and thoughtful in her responses. The condo itself was equiped with everything eco-friendly (including organic towels!!) which we absolutely loved. They are very thoughtful in the amenities; books that kept us entertained for hours and the movies were very family-friendly. There was even music, such as Jack Johnson, which was very easy to relax to. It felt like the owners thought of every situation and were looking to make this Inn as comfortable as home for their guests!!

We very much enjoyed that this condo has a floor in between the bedrooms, as it felt very private.

Again, we enjoyed staying here VERY much and look forward to going again!!

This home was truly amazing! WE stayed there for leaf-peepon weekend and the views from the living room deck were beautiful. The home itsself was extremely cozy! Keren and Greg think of EVERYTHING to make your stay there enjoyable! Everyhting from a nice bottloe of wine to discount food cards on the fridge!! Very well maintained home and so awesome! CAnt wait to mayb go back in winter!!! Thanks!

We can't say enough about our stay at the Whaleback Inn. We (a couple in our late thirties with a 4 year old and newborn) have stayed at a few different condos at the Village of loon and this one by far was the warmest and most welcoming. The owners treat this very much like an Inn with lots of amenities that made our stay feel so comfortable and easy. From the wine and chocolates, to the different coffees to wake up to, to all the games and movies that our daughter just loved, and many more details this condo had so much more than we expected. Most other units really are just a place to sleep with a kitchen and bedrooms...the owners here surely take pride in their home and go out of their way to ensure their guests feel at home too.

The condo itself is so nicely appointed with lots of sunlight and just enough living space for our family. Before renting the owner pointed out that the two bedrooms are separated by the main level living space which could pose a problem with younger children feeling far from parents and I could see that. Was not a problem with us but I was glad she noted that prior. There is also a small deck with a great view of the mountain with a few hummingbird feeders...the amount of hummingbirds was amazing to watch. My husband could have sat there and watched all weekend. The only negative (which really wasn't a big deal) was that there is no air conditioning and we were there on a very hot and muggy weekend. Luckily we were not there during the day and it really cooled off at night for comfortable sleeping. Loved the wifi which made it easy for checking out restaurant menus.

The location itself is great as there is lots to do in and around Lincoln. Our trip (which was extremely hot and muggy so lots of swimming)...Day 1- hanging by the pools and dinner at the Woodstock Inn & Brewery (always a must for us on our trips to Loon) Day 2 - Storyland - about a 40 minute drive north and a beautiful trip along the Kancamagus Highway Day 3 - Gondola to the top of Loon/exploring caves and the swimming in the river, then takeout from Gordi's Steakhouse Day 4 - Great river swimming spot across from the Woodstock Inn (perfect with kids...river in front of Loon not so much)

The owners were extremely pleasant to deal with and very responsive (I think my security deposit was back the day we left and emails were always answered very quickly). We highly recommend and hope to go back ourselves.
