New and Clean!

We stayed here in early July 2010. Never spent much time in this part of the cape, mostly Truro & P-town. Yarmouth and Hyannis are pretty quaint in their small downtowns. This cottage is one of a series of medium to teeny tiny cottages all packed (tetris-like) into what looks like 1/2 acre lot overlooking Lewis Bay. Views from the windows of this unit are either fences or neighboring cottage shingled walls, all within 18-36 inches from the windows, on 3 of the 4 sides. All of the outside areas are common; a path, a small patio with 2 picnic tables and a large lower patio with two gas grills a few lounge chairs and 4 picnic tables overlooking the bay.
We stayed here with our two toddlers, who thankfully fit together on one inflatable twin mattress on the floor in the bedroom (no room for the other twin blowup anywhere). We spent 3 nights and 4 days, longer would have been difficult due to the size (400 square feet!!). But if your a couple looking for romance or a couple with a baby this would be perfect! The bedroom TV is about 17" and the living room TV is like 13". Both get the basic cable – local stations only (about 7-10), so remember to bring movies if you plan on watching TV. A big bonus was someone closeby had an open wireless broadband internet connection which enabled us to watch streaming movies online! The sofa (x-small loveseat) holds two very snuggly.
Every thing worked well for our short stay. One thing that really pleased us was the shower stall, an oversized fiberglass unit with two small seats and a hand-held shower head – this was key for washing toddlers!
The kitchen is a tiny galley to your right, immediately upon entering. The tiny stove amazingly has 4 electric burners and most every cooking utensil you may need is there (all teflon). The fridge is also not full size, but totally adequate for a week. Everything you might need is there, it's all just very compact.
Entrance to the beach is a couple lots down the street with very calm and warm water (about 85 when we were there!). Parking for the cabins is down at the corner, where you turn onto the street.
Quaint downtown Hyannis is just a couple miles down route 28 with many shops, cafes and restaurants.
The property is impeccably maintained with tasteful beach decor and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this spot.
