If you are staying on Kauai there is not a better location then right in Hanalei. Voted one of the top beaches in the world it truly is one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit. As for homes in Hanalei, you will not find any home like this one. A custom 4500 square foot home with very unique woodwork and artistic flair. The open upstairs floor plan is a wide open area of 2400 square feet (the living room is larger than most homes in Hanalei). Custom Ohi'a beams and Tiki carved beams throughout the house accentuate the Island paradise. Located on a very quiet cul-de-sac in the heart or Hanalei. This is a prime location, just 700 feet from the world class beach of Hanalei bay and equally close to the town center of Hanalei. Centrally located our home is on one of the best cul-de-sacs in the heart of Hanalei. You are only a few minutes from the #1 beach in Hawaii and just as close to the charming sleepy town of Hanalei. Our freshly paved road makes walking barefoot into town or the beach a dream. Get in your car and endless adventures await. The Napali Coast is about a 20 minute drive, golfing at Princeville resort is a 15 minute drive. Tunnels beach is great snorkeling and 15 minutes away by car. Walk into Hanalei and rent a kayak and go up the Hanalei river into beautiful Taro fields or go downriver out into the open ocean and the challenge the waves at Hanalei point.   • Outdoor Shower with hot and cold running water is great to wash off the sand and salt after a long day in the ocean. In fact we encourage taking lots of outdoor showers throughout the day to try to keep sand and salt out of the house.

Notes: There is a new 24' iMac computer to use that comes with the house. We also have redundant high speed DSL and cable both available via WIFI throughout the house. We also have a couple docks throughout the house for you to hook up your iPod to play or charge. Both King beds are new W Hotel super plush beds with 500 thread count sheets and down comforters. The house also has a printer/fax/copier available in case work calls on you. As for cooking we have a large kitchen with two refrigerators as well as a very nice gas BBQ on the deck.

Wonderful house on quiet cul de sac

This is a great property located just blocks from restaurants and shopping in Hanalei, Kauai. The house is large with all bedrooms downstairs and one huge open room upstairs with living, dining & kitchen. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and includes two refrigerators and a wine fridge too. As in other houses here, there is no air conditioning, but the nine ceiling fans upstairs keep the upstairs room relatively cool except during midday. The downstairs is usually cooler. With all windows open it's like being in a treehouse. There's a deck off the upstairs living area equipped with a nice gas grill. There's also a big screen tv w/ satellite, dvd and wireless internet. This is the only rental property located on the cul de sac and the street is very quiet. Tenants are asked to keep the noise level down in order not to disturb the neighbors.

Hanalei is our favorite place to vacation in the world and the Tiki Home is the best experience in town. Great location. Relaxed but very well outfitted with good kitchen, great technology for a vacation home, comfortable beds (rare in rental homes) and even a massage table. Best part is big, beautiful great room. Also on a very quiet side street and feels very private despite nearby neighborhoods. Fun as a romantic getaway for a couple like us or for a big family or group of friends. If you can't be on the beach, this is definitely the place! We dig it!

Awesome vacation home in chill town of Hanalei

I take my vacations really seriously. This house in
Hanalei provided a really great vacation experience.
It is really open with a lot of space to relax and
read with tons of windows surrounded by amazing
tropical trees. The kitchen is ideal for cooking all
the amazing stuff I got from the farmer's market
across the street. There is a barbecue to cook the
fresh fish we got from the market in Hanalei. It is a
quick walk to the beach and to hang out in town and
enjoy the Hanalei community. And the outdoor shower
is awesome for when you get back from the beach.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The best out of 5 homes I rented in Hanalei Bay

I rented the Tiki House for a company off-site and family event. The Tiki House was the most memorable experience for my staff and family. We will be going back for years to come.

You can't get a better place on the island with all the amenities, beach and town so close by. The owners have made sure that everything you would ever need is available for an enjoyable stay. They've provided everything from a complete gourmet kitchen to Wi-Fi for your convenience.

The Tiki House also has some fantastic character. The pictures don't do it justice. There interior is very unique and provides a lot space for relaxing after a day at the beach.

After renting over 5 homes in Hanalei Bay, I would have to say that the Tiki House is top on my list!

The upstairs is the best part of this house. We also liked the close proximity to both the beach and downtown. We would stay here again for sure.
